In judo there are 3 stages of perfecting your technique. The same goes in developing a business process. Each stage relies on the previous and at the same time will inevitably break the stage before creating iterative steps of review and improvement. In Judo they are 1. Technique 2. Speed to execute 3. Power to account for opponent resistance In business they are: 1. Process 2. Automation 3. Scale I find the similarity facinating. Although that’s maybe also due to constantly thinking about Judo and work 🤣🤣

Love this. Perfecting Step 1 is a (time-consuming) discipline that is often overlooked. Rushing through to Step 2 would only bring tremendous consequences.
