Turning Weakness into Strength In this impactful video by YoursWisely (watch here: [https://lnkd.in/g8wtMiir]), we witness a remarkable journey of turning adversity into triumph. It highlights a profound lesson applicable to our professional lives – finding opportunity in weakness. Just as the Judo teacher recognized the latent potential in the young boy, we can constantly seek out untapped strengths. Challenges in business, like opponents in Judo, can be turned to our advantage with the right strategy. The strategic move mastered by the boy serves as a poignant reminder of the power within limitations. #resilience #strengthtraining #determination #businesslessons #professionalgrowth

In judo there are 3 stages of perfecting your technique. The same goes in developing a business process. Each stage relies on the previous and at the same time will inevitably break the stage before creating iterative steps of review and improvement. In Judo they are 1. Technique 2. Speed to execute 3. Power to account for opponent resistance In business they are: 1. Process 2. Automation 3. Scale I find the similarity facinating. Although that’s maybe also due to constantly thinking about Judo and work 🤣🤣

Performing judo throws for BJJ requires less rotation to ensure landing in a strong top position. We often put in more energy than necessary to accomplish a task that would be better served if we pulled back a little. Whether it's over rotating in a throw, overtraining, or overworking, more is not always better. #balance #judo #bjj #dropseionage #jiujitsu #brazilianjiujitsu #takedown #internaljiujitsu

▪️There are plenty of techniques out there, the important thing is not to let it get you down! And that depends significantly on your foundation, as well as how you distribute your weight correctly! Then come reflexes, explosiveness, and striking technique to be as effective as possible against the attacker☠️ ▪️Also, keep in mind that usually, it's not going to be a professional MMA or Judo athlete trying to take you down... But it’s always best not to underestimate your opponent and to train in self-defense even for the worst-case scenario! ▪️I’d be interested to hear more about prevention techniques in the comments below! If you know any, write them down below👇🏻🗯️ #SelfDefense #PersonalSafety #MartialArts #ProtoKravMaga
