I would take it one step further and say, what would happen if we CELEBRATED people's strengths and built strong teams with this information in mind? Not everyone is good at everything. Stretching employees and colleagues for their personal and professional growth is important. However, understanding that each one of us brings a unique set of skills (aka strengths) should be the focus. There are 278,256 possible combinations of the 34 Strengths themes. Celebrate the diversity in that! Celebrate the possibilities in that! Celebrate people's strengths!

The global strengths movement started decades ago when Don Clifton, Father of Strengths Psychology and Legendary Inventor of #CliftonStrengths, posed the question, “What would happen if we studied what was right with people versus what’s wrong with people?” He believed that the most effective way to empower people was to see each person in terms of their strengths. Today, on what would have been his 100th birthday, we celebrate Don and his contributions toward helping individuals and teams around the world unlock their potential. As part of the strengths celebration, share your top five in the comments. https://lnkd.in/diXkti8E
