Wow, what a Pride Month we had at Riveron! From the races to the finish lines to the laughter echoing through our wine bar gatherings, one thing was crystal clear: this was not just another corporate event. The strength of the community was present. We ran, we snacked on rainbow-colored treats, we toasted with pride-themed cocktails, and we celebrated each other. But you know what mattered the most? It was seeing our team members completely at ease, being their authentic selves. This reflects inclusion. It's not about ticking boxes or making grand statements. It's about creating a space where we can work hard and then enjoy each other’s company, without anyone feeling they need to hide a part of who they are. At Riveron, we aim to embrace diversity in everything we do, and yes, we celebrate it. Because when people feel truly accepted, they bring their best selves to work, driving innovation and creating a vibrant, successful culture. Here's to a Pride Month that showed us once again: at Riveron, you can bring your whole self to work. We wouldn't have it any other way. Special thanks to everyone who played a part in making each event successful, including all of our hosts: Mallori Grambeau, Matthew Novak, Erin Jackson, CPA, Marcus Tolson, CPA, Rob Butler, Stephanie Van Winkle, Alex Hilsabeck, Matt Wray, Will Lanehart, and La'Toya McWaters, SHRM-CP, CDP Stay connected to see all of the action on Life at Riveron here: https://bit.ly/4cpfOp9 #PrideMonth #RiveronPride #RiverOut #Riveron #DEI

We invest in extraordinary families, funds, and founders. Logistics venture capital, creating connective tissue between legacy industry families, funds and founders building the future.
The family office and the trucking company are independent. Trimac makes operational trucking decisions, and the family office makes all investment decisions. This is because we invest at pre-seed, seed, and A, and typically, corporates roll out at series C and later. The investments are only made for financial return; investment evaluation has no strategic component. Basic Clay Christiansen Innovators Dilemma.

Thank you InterGen for yet another enriching Wine Wednesday session where Jeffrey McCaig and Trevor Adey shared their inspiring journeys and insights into their work. Here are some highlights that resonated with me: 1. Jeff's remarkable family history and his relentless pursuit of knowledge, embracing new avenues along his educational journey. 2. The McCaig family's profound involvement in sports at various levels, advocating for equitable pathways for children to pursue their passions. 3. Exploring how Trimac and the transportation industry adapt to change and stay proactive rather than lagging behind. 4. Commendable investments by Trimac Transportation as LP in innovative ventures, broadening their access to knowledge and innovation. 5. Fascinating discussions on the future of the transportation industry, particularly regarding AI integration and advancements in vehicle technology. Excited for the 2024 Wine Wednesday sessions, anticipating diverse guest speakers, and reconnecting with our incredible community friends. Life becomes so much more interesting and valuable with support from the next generation ;-)
As we are building Promon for the next fantastic growth journey - we are also a building a business family. Exactly that feeling hit me with our last week of Promon Fest, but what confirmed it was when I got the FIRST drawing from Folker den Braber ´s daughter Mathilda that captured both the family feeling, but also our multinational team and the smiles on our faces. THANK YOU Mathilda for making my day and reminding me while we build what is most important ❤️

Miracle Mondays Celebrating the wins Whenever you can wherever you are…celebrate the wins! It is so important to celebrate. Most of the times in life it is so easy to just acknowledge the win and see it as part of life and not smelling the roses…I am guilty of this from time to time. It’s key to talk about the good the bad the ugly…and always learn from the bad and the ugly, and celebrate the good! A celebration doesn’t mean an a huge party, it’s just talking about it as a team, getting energy from it and leverage the wins for future wins! We had a great win last week at Cobild - ranked #3 in Australia’s Great Place To Work. We are pumped and we are celebrating how much of an incredible team we have and an incredible culture! Our Cobildians rock So what are you celebrating this week? #celebratesuccess #funisenegy #notyourtypical #relationshipsforlife #construction #melbourneproperty #melbourneproperty #propertydevelopment #property #gptw2023 #gptwcertified

I’ve dedicated my career to developing and delivering unique, end-to-end economic development services for cities, companies, and developers. I am a leader, speaker, and difference-maker.
On the power of “Yes” and the magic of community collaboration - a throwback to a day that defines innovation and resilience. Ten years ago, as dawn broke and I made my way back from a workshop I had led in Eagle Pass, and while on the road a call from Bastrop—where I had the honor of working at the time—changed the course of my day and, in many ways, my approach to opportunities. I remember this day because It was International Happiness Day, and a friend a and Bastrop residnet called with an idea: “Could we shoot a video set to the tune of “Happy,” a song that was trending at the time to celebrate International Happiness Day?” Honestly, I thought, “It’s 7 in the morning. I’m driving a rented Prius four hours from Bastrop, and you want to shoot, produce, and post a video today?” So, naturally, I said l, “Yes,” because that’s what Super Dave Quinn would do. The logistics seemed daunting. Me, miles away driving in a rented Prius, with the day already in full swing. But the essence of innovation isn’t in the ‘how’ but the ‘yes.’ “Yes,” I found myself saying. Yes to the unpredictable, yes to the seemingly impossible, because that’s what we do. The video below is more than a memory. It’s a reminder of the power in embracing opportunities, no matter how unexpected. It wasn’t about the how; it was about the will. And as the day unfolded, so did the path to making it happen, guided by a community’s heart and hustle. This experience taught me countless lessons, but the most profound was the incredible feats we can achieve when we foster a culture of yes. It’s about more than just agreeing; it’s about opening doors to possibilities, about communities and individuals coming together to turn a vision into reality. This video, crafted in a single day, stands as a vibrant reminder of what’s possible when we unite in creativity and purpose. As you watch, I hope you’re reminded of the power within you to embrace opportunities, lead with optimism, and build something meaningful together. Let’s carry this spirit of possibility into every challenge, every project, every day. Here’s to saying “Yes” - to opportunities, to community, and to making the impossible possible. Watch to the end to see all the folks who said Yes and helped make it happen. Bonus points: drop a comment on the investment you think it took to produce this. https://lnkd.in/d7GTJVNY #SuperDaveQuinn #Innovation #Community #BastropTX #TexasStrong #EconDev #YesMan #Texas #econdev #TexasEDConnection #superdave #d1experts
