Many thanks to our subject matter experts Richard Mroz, Anthony Hurley, CPP®, PCI®, PSP®, MEP, CPD, F.ISRM, and the Vander Weele Group's own Elizabeth Mackay for sharing their wealth of knowledge and lessons learned about government-industry partnerships at yesterday's webinar.
While born of their experiences managing post-disaster relief after Hurricanes Sandy and Irene, the takeaways they shared have tremendous value for more than just crisis management. Building effective public-private partnerships to address large-scale problems is an increasingly important tool in grant programs' efforts to tackle economic, environmental, and community health issues.
In the coming years, I expect we'll see more collaboration requirements like those of the DOE Grid Deployment Office's GRIP programs and State and Tribal Formula grants. If we want to be ready, then the time to prepare, to begin fostering relationships and figuring out how to work together, is now.
A huge thank you to our fabulous presenters at yesterday's webinar: Elizabeth Mackay, Richard Mroz, and Anthony Hurley, CPP®, PCI®, PSP®, MEP, CPD, F.ISRM!
If you couldn't make it, don't worry; you can now access the recording on YouTube. In this webinar, our experts in utility regulation, energy sector operations, and grants compliance take a deep dive into the process of building effective relationships between state regulators and private industry: what steps to take, the challenges and opportunities you'll encounter along the way, and how collaboration impacts the effectiveness of Federally-funded infrastructure projects.
