These days, people talk about mental well-being and how to take care of it, but only a few do something about it. I aim to help people by upscaling my skills and learning therapies. In this regard, I finished another certification in Solution-Focused Brief therapy, which focuses on the solutions rather than the problems. It differs from other therapies and helps the person in just a few sessions. If you want to know more about it, we can connect. #acheivement #mentalhealth #certification #psychotherapy

Clinical Psychologist Teaching Resilience by serving you Mental Vitamins online, in person, on stage!
Let's talk about therapy ... because people still have weird ideas of what therapy is and are unaware what it can do for you. It is so engrained in our minds that therapy is for "the broken people". So obviously we don't get excited when we "need to go to therapy". So let's change that narrative and talk about what therapy can do for you and how it can benefit you. 1. Therapy is a tool. It is a resource you pull in to facilitate change. Yes, pain is often a catalyst for change. And often people wait to ask for help until they hit rock bottom. We feel broken, we think our bodies are broken, we are focused on what is wrong with us ... STOP! Mental health struggles does not mean you are broken. You are just disconnected. Therapy can help you find your way back. 2. Conversations with your therapist will teach you about behavioural patterns, why you react the way you do, how your brain works, what emotions are and how to use them for the better. And we always use the body to understand the mind better. Your body is always working for you. So learn how to understand that language better. This way you become proactive in managing your life and health and thus avoid suffering. 3. Life will teach you what you can do and need to stop doing to become a better and bolder version of yourself. Therapy just makes you go faster with less suffering. 4. Therapy will teach you how to be a better partner, a better parent. It will help you with intimacy, relationships, career and so much more! You are creating your reality ... so don't you think you deserve all the tools in order to design a life of your dreams? Or to become a version of yourself that you can be proud of? So today I want to invite you to give it a try. Book a session with a therapist and be amazed what you can learn in just 60 to 90 minutes. With love, Ines #therapy #selflove #psychologistonthego #becomingunstoppable #igototherapy #dothework #mentalavitamins #dailydoseofdisruption #mentalhealthatwork #mentalhealthawareness

Team and Group Relational Psychotherapeutic Therapist | Leadership Coach | Transactional Analysis Expert | Coach Educator | Clinical Supervisor | founder Therapeutic Coaching Academy™️| DM me
Pain travels through families until someone is ready to feel it. You may have well worn pathways of typical ways to respond to and manage pain in your family: keeping busy, having a cuppa, ploughing your feels into your work, gathering your friends as distractions and comfort around you, having a drink, feeding your people, shopping etc... you know. And until you're ready to sit with your emotions, feel them, acknowledge them and use them to guide you, you'll be focused on bypassing them. Like the generations before you did. And when you feel them, acknowledge them and use them to build your awareness, knowing and understanding, you're richer for them, you're fuller for them, you're whole. You need your feelings, you see. Youre supposed to navigate your experience of being alive using thinking, behaviour 𝐚𝐧𝐝 feeling. When you navigate through with just thinking and behaviour, it's like you're missing the third wheel and so you're wobbly, at risk of harm and living incomplete. You deserve to live whole, to open out to the fullest experience of your existence. If you're ready to get help with this, contact me. I'm only a DM away. #transactionalanalysis #traumaresponsive #traumainformed #psychotherapy #coaches #coachingskills

The Butterfly Hug is a self-soothing/self-loving practice that can help ground ourselves when feeling anxious, stressed, and other emotions. This infographic, by Neurons Away, shows how to do it. While practicing this, you can also use your imagination by putting yourself in a peaceful place, as shown. There are other variations to this practice that I use with myself and my clients. For example, rather than placing each hand on your opposite shoulder, you can also place each hand on your opposite collar bone, elbow, or arm. #Selfsoothing #selflove2024 #selflovematters #selfloveisthebestlove #SelfLoveIsKey #selfloveisimportant #grounding #groundingtechniques #emotional #emotionalhealth #emotionalwellness #EmotionalJourney #selfcare #selfcarejourney #selfcarematters #selfcaretips #psychologistsofinstagram #psychologist #therapy #therapyworks #therapist #therapistsofinstagram #therapistlife #TherapistsConnect #counselling #counsellingservices #counsellor #counsellorsofinstagram #mentalhealththerapist #mentalhealththerapy #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters

🌟 Exploring the Interplay Between Self-Esteem and Anxiety in Therapy 🌟 As a psychologist, delving into the delicate relationship between self-esteem and anxiety in my clients has been both enlightening and humbling. In the safety of the therapeutic space, I've witnessed firsthand how anxiety can cast a shadow over one's self-esteem, distorting perceptions of worth and capability. When anxiety strikes, it has a way of making people feel that they aren't capable of handling life's challenges. Their self-esteem takes a hit. For many, this relationship has been life-long, and the idea of changing this dynamic feels insurmountable. The journey towards healing begins with building awareness of patterns and fostering a compassionate understanding of one's self. In my practice, I've found that cultivating a sense of self-compassion is vital. It's about creating a space where clients can explore their themselves and their inner world and create a new relationship with the parts of themself they dislike or ignore. I am deeply honoured to walk alongside my clients on this transformative journey. Together, we navigate the complexities of anxiety and self-esteem, fostering growth, and fostering a deeper sense of self-acceptance and resilience. #Psychology #TherapyJourney #SelfCompassion #AnxietyAwareness #MentalHealthMatters

Paul Gilbert, president of The Compassionate Mind Foundation, says,“The challenge here is to recognise the importance of kindness and affection and place them at the centre of our relationship with ourselves, with others and with the world. So ask yourself: Have you really put warmth, gentleness, kindness, support and compassion at the centre of how you relate to yourself and the way in which you try to help yourself through life’s tragedies? Have you put those qualities at the centre of your relationships with others, even people you don’t like very much?”― Paul Gilbert, The Compassionate Mind For #MotivationalMonday, here at #TherapistsConnect, we are reflecting on the part #SelfCompassion plays in our work and our personal life. We would love to know how pursuing a compassion-focused life has influenced your life professionally and personally. #QuotesOfInstagram #PaulGilbert #CompassionFocusTherapy #CFT #Counseling #CousellorsConnecting #Counsellor#Therapist #Psychotherapist#TimeOut #CounsellorsOfInstagram #TherapistsOfInstagram #PsychotherapistsOfInstagram #Counselling #Counsellors #Therapy #Psychotherapy #MentalHealthAwareness #MentalHealthMatters#TraineeCounsellors #HelpingRoles #HelpingProfessions #TherapeuticRelationship #TalkingTherapy
