Heart disease is the leading cause of death worldwide 🌍 Symptoms of heart disease can sometimes go unnoticed and hence annual physical screening visits to a healthcare provider are so important 🧑🏽⚕️ Several heart conditions fall under the heart disease umbrella. A healthcare provider will first take your medical history and perform a physical exam before deciding what testing measures are appropriate for your symptoms. It's good practice to get tested if you have high risk or history of heart disease in the family or have symptoms. 2moThanks for enlightening us on some of the high risk groups vulnerable for cardiovascular diseases. Control of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes and some simple lifestyle changes can significantly lower the risk! As you stated education and proactive care are paramount!
