Real Talk on Men Mental Health Week. This week our amazing Aftercare and Well-being Manager Stephanie, had some real conversations and open discussions with Chris, Jack and Stephen that shed light on the unique challenges men face in prioritizing their mental well-being in a society that often equates masculinity with suppressing emotions. From battling anxiety and depression to overcoming much more, their stories were raw, vulnerable, and inspiring, a huge thank you to all of them for their openness in sharing their journeys with mental health - the achievements, the struggles, the failures, and the lessons learned. The key takeaway? We all have mental health, and it's okay not to be okay sometimes. What matters is reaching out for support when needed and not suffering in silence. There is strength in vulnerability. If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health issues, please don't hesitate to reach out. We Are Footprint and our community are here to listen without judgement and provide resources. You don't have to go through this alone. Let's continue breaking down the stigma around men's mental health, one real conversation at a time. Share your thoughts below on this important topic. Mental health and speaking openly about how your feeling is very close to me and I feel strongly that everyone, especially men should speak to each other more about how they feel. So when We Are Footprint came to me wanting to make a short film for Men’s Health Week covering these topics I was more than happy to get involved. 3 of the guys from We Are Footprint (Jack Berry, Chris Coward AREC and Stephen Carr) spoke about their experiences with mental health and the need for lads to speak more openly about how they’re feeling. #mentalhealth #menshealthweek #mentalhealthawareness #videoproduction #videography

This week marks #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek - a week which resonates with many. Mental Health doesn’t discriminate, it can affect anyone and despite it’s prevalence it can often be swept under the carpet throughout society, it may sound cliché, but that is the undeniable reality. Every year, Mental Health Awareness Week provides an incredible opportunity for individuals and organisations to unite and shine a light on the importance of mental well-being. Taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health. It's okay to reach out for support when you're struggling. Whether it's talking to a friend, seeking professional help, or finding resources online, there are options available. Remember, seeking help doesn't make you weak—it shows strength and courage to prioritise your well-being. 👉 Keep an eye out across our socials this week as seek to raise awareness around the topic of #mentalhealth. #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawarenessweek #mentahealthmatters #wellbeing #mhaw24 Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity Samaritans Mind Mates in Mind

Today is World Mental Health Day! 🧠💙 At SPL Installations, we believe that mental health should always come first. As proud contributors to both Mind and The Lighthouse Charity, we are committed to supporting those who are facing mental health challenges in our industry and beyond. Here are a few steps we can all take to protect our mental well-being: 1. Reach out for support – Whether it’s talking to a loved one or a professional, don’t hesitate to seek help. 2. Stay connected – Maintain strong relationships with friends, family, and colleagues to build a support network. 3. Take time for self-care – Prioritise activities that relax and recharge you, such as exercise, hobbies etc. 4. Be kind to yourself – Practice self-compassion, and remember that it's okay to not be okay. 5. Help break the stigma – Mental health matters as much as physical health. Talk openly about it to create a more supportive environment. Mental health effects us all, and looking after it is essential to our overall well-being. We’re proud to contribute to organisations like Mind and the Lighthouse Charity, who are doing vital work to offer support and raise awareness. Let’s continue to build a culture where mental health is a priority for everyone! #WorldMentalHealthDay #LoveConstruction #MentalHealthMatters #SPLInstallations #MINDCharity #LighthouseCharity #MentalWellBeing
