We increasingly live in an experience economy, where products are increasingly commoditized and everybody uses technology. How will your brand stand out? How fast can you evolve your business structure to deliver customers a more compelling experience? How successful are you at turning customers into brand evangelists (fans)? As consumer spending shifts from things to experiences, these are important questions to consider. Furthermore, it pays to consider the customer experience question beyond your category. Today, customers are much more inclined to compare their experience with U2, the Dallas Cowboys, Starbucks, Uber and Amazon to the experience YOU deliver. Every customer touch point is a moment of truth where you can add value and advance a relationship. It's worth considering how. https://lnkd.in/gPmxZhKp #customerexperience #customerservice #experienceeconomy

What's old is new again? * Brick & mortar mega-bookstores returning? Don't get me wrong - I love me some good old-fashioned reading, but is this a good sign for the market? Indies are lifeblood. * Legacy magazine titles are also returning (as I've written about before). SI, Business Week, Playboy, etc. And no joke, just announced this week - The Onion's paper format is coming back - perhaps the best satire on the planet. So... now what. And why... Does anyone have a meta-view story to share here? Very curious on a data-driven point of view. All I've seen thus far are opinions. And you know what they say about opinions... :) #mrxjobs. 🌟 Exciting Update! 🌟 Since my appearance on Dragon's Den, it's been a whirlwind year, and I'm thrilled to share what I've been up to - let's just say, there is life after the den! In the past year, we opened up a retail space, launched a swap club, produced a sustainable programme for businesses so they can bring secondhand shopping to their employees as a lunchtime perk, and most importantly, built a community of invested consumers. And the results speak for themselves! We've saved an incredible 10,000 clothes from going to landfill and created a circular economy where customers can swap items back into our system for credit or product. But here's the major pivot: I didn't anticipate that my background as a TV presenter would become so relevant. Our main sales and swapping sign-ups now come through our live selling channel! By combining my marketing and creative mindset, honed through my work with the incredible digital agency, Ecrubox, we've launched our own live shopping channel. Join me on this journey as we redefine the future of retail together! As a live selling expert, I'm constantly staying ahead of the curve and exploring innovative ways to engage with customers in real-time. From interactive product demonstrations to personalised shopping experiences, the possibilities are endless with live selling. Let's continue to make a difference and together, build a sustainable future. 🚀 #ThoughtLeadership #LiveSellingInnovation

Covid was a redefining moment in history and human innovation. Many businesses such as food delivery boomed and many great innovations were born. During the lockdown I had ideated a concept to bring back the "human" element to a coffee ordering experience, which I think is quintessential to getting a cup of coffee. This is the video I created to outline what the experience would look like and how it can elevate the experience for customers and increase ticket sales for merchants https://lnkd.in/gYtNQF6J The idea was to build a marketplace where businesses could digitize their brick and mortar stores and offer that to customers, with extensibility with other platforms like yelp to bring a AR experience to something as simple as ordering coffee! How many of you think that there could be some potential to this concept? #covid19 #startupideas #foodordering

Retail is not dead, it’s just changing. Staying behind the trends is what left many mall dependant retailers (with margins cut way too low) and the malls they’re in dead. At the same time, the operators open to change & adaptation have never been better. They can get super low rents, as much space as needed, with great parking and often in central locations. The key is to offer unique experiences, which Amazon cannot. Adapt & grow to the moon, or stay behind and join the dinasours🦕 https://lnkd.in/gJWqa7uF
