At Red Rhino Craft Brewery, we've always known who we are: Craftsmen first, innovators second, and guardians of brewing tradition always. Like our namesake, we stand bold and distinctive in the craft beer landscape. But today, we're reaffirming our core purpose - we are, above all else, devoted to the art and science of exceptional craft beer. Every decision we make starts with a simple question: "What's best for the beer?" Our commitment runs deep: • Traditional brewing techniques that honour the craft that is brewing • Quality ingredients • Uncompromising standards • Innovation that respects tradition From our flagship Pilsner to our locally-inspired Basmati Spiced Ale, every beer we craft carries this philosophy. We've grown, we've evolved, but our heart remains in the brew house. Because at Red Rhino, we believe extraordinary craft beer isn't just what we do - it's who we are. #CraftBeer #BrewingTradition #BeerCulture #CraftBrewing #LocalBrew #RedRhino #BreweryLife #QualityFirst #BeerInnovation

Whisky giant Chivas Brothers has revealed plans to build a new distillery on the isle of Islay. It will be the first time the Scotch maker, which is responsible for single malts such as Aberlour and The Glenlivet, has had a presence on the island. An application has been submitted to Argyll and Bute Council for a site at Gartbreck Farm in Bowmore with a decision expected by late March. Islay is already one of Scotland's major whisky attractions with 10 distilleries including Laphroaig, Ardbeg and Lagavulin. The oldest distillery on the island is Bowmore, which began operating in 1779 and is currently owned by the makers of American bourbon brand Jim Beam. Chivas Brothers are partnering with Islay Estates on the new distillery, which said it would work closely with the community so there was minimal impact to residents. Planning officials said the whisky makers hoped to make a "significant positive contribution" to Islay. Fall will be here before we know it — and that’s peak event season. 🍂 Here are five genuinely unique, fun field marketing ideas you should consider hosting: 1️⃣ Biergarten/Winery + dogs Rent out a bar that allows dogs and have guests bring their furry friends. I know one guest that would attend in Indy 👀 Peep Remi, our Bernedoodle 🐶 2️⃣ Cooking class Book a class that focuses on making fall dishes with in-season ingredients — squash, pumpkins, apples, cinnamon, etc. 3️⃣ A panel + pickleball Host panel content, followed by a pickleball tournament. (I just might steal this one.) 4️⃣ Wine tasting Tour 2-3 different wineries and provide a luxury shuttle to take people around for the evening. 5️⃣ A private boat dinner Headed to Boston or San Francisco? Rent a private boat for an evening. #fieldmarketing

For the latest issue of Glug Magazine Wine52.com I wrote an article that's a bit different from the usual. It's a (hopefully) fun exploration of what it means to judge a #wine #competition, the types of characters you encounter at the judging table, and the value of these competitions for both consumers and judges. Pretty much everything in the article applies equally well to #beer and #spirits competitions. https://lnkd.in/dmBXGcjn #winejudge #winecompetition #judging #tasting #winetasting

👏 👏 Creating a Fife Whisky Region now would provide a clear identity, marketing advantage, and a sense of pride for local producers and consumers. While the logistical and bureaucratic hurdles are real, the long-term benefits for Fife's whisky-making community and its global reputation outweigh the costs. As the saying goes, the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago; the second-best time is now. The same holds true for establishing Fife as a whisky region 👏 This version draws more attention to the passion and heritage of the distilleries while emphasizing the unique opportunity to build a distinct identity for Fife now, rather than waiting. The goal is to inspire a sense of pride and urgency in moving forward with the creation of a Fife Whisky Region. https://lnkd.in/ghhfefNA #whisky #fifewhisky #fife
