New Provider Partnership Announcement | DSI has signed an agreement, becoming part of the Sandler Partners community. Partners can now offer their customers DIRECTV for Business via DSI, providing dedicated satellite TV services, making more customers serviceable without taking important internet bandwidth from main business operations. Available in all 50 states, they provide quotes within 24 hours and can activate customers quickly with no minimum requirement for new sales. “DSI allows you to offer DIRECTV for Business to your customers, bringing the entertainment, music, and sports programming Satellite TV they are looking for,” states Caleb Tucker, Senior Vice President, “even NFL Sunday Ticket, the premium out-of-market sports package which isn’t available on residential DIRECTV. Your customers can have DIRECTV state-of-the-art equipment installed and supported for their restaurants, hospitals, banks, stores, and more. Have you noticed cable TV bills continue to increase? Did you also notice the number of channels in some of these packages have decreased? Most noticeably, Comcast has been moving some sports channels to more expensive packages with some of its RSNs. This has resulted in Bally Sports dropping Comcast as it fights with them to keep its RSNs on cheaper packages. Although Spectrum dropped multiple Disney-owned channels including Disney Jr, Freeform, and FXX last year, the price increased twice. https://lnkd.in/eS4EddDx

This time last year I joined LG Ad Solutions, my first 12 months has flown past and with the Christmas break nearly upon is, I am more excited than ever about our team and what 2024 will have in store. Reflecting on all the meetings and conversations I have had, I sense CTV in EMEA still needs to validate why it should be a foundational part of the media plan vs a 'nice to have'. I remember being grilled by a senior buyer at Essence many years ago and her checklist for validating a supplier offering I think rings true to anyone looking to invest in CTV and helps prove the case. 1. Do you have exclusive inventory? 2. Do you exclusive 1P data? 3. Do you have exclusive tech? 4. How do you prove you are driving incremental reach vs others on the plan? A pretty simple but effective list to cut through the noise and ensure budget flows to the right partners who can ensure the hype lives up to reality in 2024! #ctv #streaming

See, TV? The top two CTV OS in the US are Roku and Amazon's Fire, as new data from TVision shows 👇. I think most folks in Media do not realize just how dominant Roku is in the US, nor how large Amazon’s CTV footprint is. However, much of their combined install base - 55% of CTV homes - are on connected devices, aka dongles. AND dongles are dying. 50% of TVs and 61% of CTV homes are now CTVs connected directly to the interwebs, NOT external devices like the Fire Stick or Roku Inc.'s dongle (more data from TVision).
