The second regional economic summitt happened in the SBA Great Lakes Region 5 where the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (WHIAANHPI) continued its summit series through a historic agreement the U.S. Small Business Administration WHIAANHPI and National ACE! 📍Close to 500 people registered for the WHIAANHPI summit in #StPaul, where U.S. Small Business Administration Deputy Administrator Dilawar Syed kicked off the federal agency welcome! He highlighted the Biden-Harris Administration’s resources and investments to support AA & NHPI communities, meeting them where they are at, and democratizing access to capital. 🇺🇸 SBA Deputy Administrator Dilawar Syed closed out his day by participating in a town hall with the #Somali American community in Bloomington, MN moderated by Amran Farah, former President of the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers and the co-founder and former president of the Somali American Bar Association.
