Then, you complete a 3-year doctorate program. After that, you sit for the board exam in your state, and if you pass it, you’re officially a licensed physical therapist! 🔵 Physical therapists have many areas that we are licensed to practice in, including acute care/hospital settings, sports, rehabilitation, and much more! We are movement and biomechanics specialists; anything that relates to the nervous, muscular, and skeletal systems. 🔵 We treat many different levels of patients, and it’s part of the reason we have to have so much training before we begin working!
