The Salentis International team will be at Farnborough Airshow on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th July. We are looking forward to catching up with friends, colleagues and clients, so if we haven't already arranged to meet then message me and let's drink coffee. On Tuesday I will be solo, but joined on Wednesday by my UK colleagues Gavin Jones and Karen Espley. We aren't distracted by other areas of consultancy so we can focus on providing excellence in bid support. - We are increasingly asked to help with pre-bid capture strategy and management and often transition from this into supporting the consequent bid. - We are highly experienced in helping clients from one country bid into another. This is particularly the case between the 'five eyes' countries, but we have experience across every region on the globe where there are procurement competitions. Pleased to announce that Sopra Steria’s EU Consulting Team has successfully delivered a high-quality study on the digitalisation of intra-Union transfer of explosives documents for the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW). Our study examines several technical solutions and defines an architecture overview and the project charter of the chosen system. Our team has advised DG GROW on possible alternatives for re-using the SCEPYLT system and has presented the results to Member States’ representatives at the European Centre Borschette. The study has been warmly welcomed by all participants and DG GROW. Last week the #ASEAN Australia Special Summit was held at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The 3-day #summit brought leaders together to look ahead to the next 50 years of ASEAN-Australia cooperation. With a key focus being the collective #greenenergy transition across our region under the Climate and Clean Energy Forum. What was clear - Australia is working hard to bring our clean energy vision into reality: ✅ 43 per cent emissions reduction commitment by 2030 and net zero by 2050 ✅ 82 per cent renewable electricity by 2030 ✅ $40 billion to Australian energy transformation and climate priorities ✅ $2 billion Hydrogen Head Start programme And, in the spirit of shared goals, Minister for Industry and Science Ed Husic MP showed Australia's support of our South East Asian neighbours with: ✔️ $200 million climate and infrastructure partnership with Indonesia. ✔️ $150 million package to support Vietnam's energy transition. ✔️ Commitment to Singapore Australia Green Economy Agreement. ✔️ Up to $50 million to diversify clean energy supply chains in the Indo-Pacific. Nordic-Baltic cooperation on digital identity paves the way for simpler cross border services A new report from the Nordic-Baltic eID collaboration (NOBID) describes how collaboration on digital identity can revolutionize access to public and private services across borders in Europe. With ambitions to create a seamless digital infrastructure, the region is collectively facing digital challenges and opportunities. The report, which is the result of extensive analysis and collaboration between experts from the #Nordic and #Baltic countries, sheds light on the status of digital identity and identity matching across borders. Through close collaboration, common challenges and solutions have been identified that can strengthen the region’s position as a digital front runner.
