📢 This week it is the turn to announce that Coteng & Daily Creations | Designpartner in digitalization are the #SMEs selected to answer the #challenge proposed by Otary RS NV Within the framework of the ELBE EUROCLUSTER project, Otary RS NV proposed an innovation challenge entitled "Offshore Wind Planning Optimizer considering RT production forecasting". 🏆 🤝 After the evaluation of the different applications, the consortium formed by the Belgian Coteng and the Dutch Daily Creations | Designpartner in digitalization has been awarded as the best proposal and, therefore, they will work during the next year to provide a solution to the challenge with their project "Offshore wind decision and planning optimizer application". 💸 To this end, they have been awarded a grant of €60,000. #Innovation #offshore #WindEnergy #DG_GROW European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP)

🌟 As part of Latvia's trade mission to the US, the delegation attended Gastech 2024 in Houston, the largest and most influential event in natural gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG), hydrogen, climate technologies, energy manufacturing, and low-carbon solutions. 🔋 This year's conference focused on hydrogen technology as a clean energy solution, and several significant projects in this field have already been proposed in Latvia. 🤝 At Gastech, Minister of Economics Viktors Valainis, alongside entrepreneurs, engaged with several companies, identifying key opportunities for collaboration. Notably, an agreement to double diesel fuel supplies to Latvia was secured, which will optimize the use of Latvia's port infrastructure, boost competition, and enhance supply security. 💬 Raivis Bremsmits, Director General of LIAA, highlighted: "Companies in the oil and natural gas markets are exploring new niches to sustain their market share. TEAL Mobility has become the eighth member of the H2Accelerate collaboration as it looks to ensure the deployment of hydrogen refuelling infrastructure throughout Europe. The Air Liquide and TotalEnergies joint venture (JV) aims to deploy more than 100 refuelling stations for heavy-duty vehicles on major European corridors over the next 10 years. It has already implemented plans to operate around 20 facilities in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany by the end of this year. The development of hydrogen refuelling infrastructure aligns with the H2Accelerate’s “ambitions to accelerate the uptake of green hydrogen for trucking in Europe, by bringing together hydrogen vehicle manufacturers and infrastructure providers.” François Bordes Olivier Bontems https://lnkd.in/ejMyjcNS

Congratulations to our colleagues across Marine & Offshore for their contribution to Bureau Veritas’ strong full-year 2023 financial results!   ➡️  8.5% increase in organic revenue to €5,867.8 million ➡️  Healthy organic margin of 16.2% ➡️  Strong momentum for sustainability and energy transition solutions   The Marine & Offshore business made an outsized contribution to these results. Our organic revenue rose 14.4%, thanks to very strong growth in new construction, our core in-service activity, and services.
