An introduction to PARADOX: For English speakers We are PARADOX, a Japanese branding and creative agency born in 2001. The philosophy at the center of our branding practice is the word “Kokorozashi.” This loosely translates to “the unique purpose with which an individual or organization was born.” “Kokorozashi” goes beyond "purpose," encompassing the unique Japanese concepts of "ikigai (that which gives life worth and meaning)," and "rita no seishin (a true regard for others)." Throughout our experience working with over 300 companies and their leaders, we gained the insight that people with “Kokorozashi” have an undeniable energy. They use their strengths to make the world a better place, and as a result, live with more meaning, passion, and happiness. Our branding method brings forth the unique, undefined “Kokorozashi” that lies within, and expresses it effectively and creatively so that it can be seen and put into action. The more defined it is, the more people rally around them, and join forces to make it into reality. We hope to share the insight we have gained over our 20 years of experience, not just throughout Japan, but to the world. #Branding #BrandBuilding #CorporateIdentity #Storytelling #Japan #Kokorozashi #Ikigai
