“Life is filled with difficult decisions, and winners are those who make them.” – Dan Brown
This past week, I made the difficult decision to say goodbye to my team at Alpha Testing and pursue a new opportunity with a different firm in the metroplex. It was not an easy decision, and therefore one I didn't come to lightly. Alpha Testing, and UES, are a great company with unlimited potential and phenomenal people. I stand behind the work they do and my former team 100%. I have nothing but love for Alpha, UES, and all the wonderful people that make up the entire organization. In fact, if you need a strong resource in the Geotechnical space, reach out to any of my former team (Dakota Higgs, Ugochukwu Echendu, Laura Peña-Kimball Mary Michelle Young) and they'll make sure you're taken care of - If not, I think I'm still allowed to yell at them for a few more days! Ha!
The new chapter starts for Team Watt next week and I can't wait to share both the details of the new role and the journey with you. For as challenging as the decision was to make, I'm confident that it was the right one and can't wait to see what the future holds!
I'll share about the new position next week, but for now, Bethany and I are headed out of town to celebrate our 15th anniversary.
Bonus points if you can guess where we are headed - Here are a couple of clues:
1. This area has the largest concentration of Mammals in the lower 48 states.
2. Although one of the oldest of its kind in the world, it's NOT the largest, contrary to popular belief.
3. It is technically a supervolcano.
Happy guessing, everyone - Can't wait to share the new role and company with you next week!!
Congratulations! This looks amazing 🧡
