Today’s redesign spotlight is on Ritz Toasted Chips! The iconic cracker brand unveiled a fresh look for this product, and the upgrade had consumers giving it a thumbs up. Ritz utilized a more dynamic design, magnifying the fresh-vegetable imagery and adding a cascade of “falling” chips down the side of the package. Those taste appeal changes, in addition to amplifying the “Toasted Chips” label, caused the scales to tip in favor of the new design: 62% of consumers preferred to purchase the updated package, while only 38% said they preferred the old package.
