Market Manager @ Key Title | Customer Experience | Operations Efficiency | Attorney, Title Insurance
I get by with a little help from my friends. In a recent conversation with a potential customer, he candidly admitted to frustrations with his previously reliable title insurance providers. I used a phrase that sparked curiosity: ⭐ "We can handle the overflow." ⭐ This phrase prompted him to inquire, "What overflow?" 🙄 Let me explain. The landscape of customer service is ever-changing. 🌊 Whether it's the retirement of a key employee 😨, smaller offices struggling with high volumes 😭, or an inflexible office procedure 😠, service providers can sometimes falter in delivering consistent service. ❌ It's during these moments that some of the customer's workload—overflow—finds its way to us. 🤩🤩🤩 In the world of title insurance, it is not uncommon for us to step in to handle title orders that for any number of reasons, could not be fulfilled by current vendors the way the customer requires. 🆘 Whether it's a lack of responsiveness, a reduction in the quality of work due to staff changes, or perceived inadequacies in training, these are all instances where we can assist on at least a portion of their title orders. They reach out to us in their time of need. ✅✅✅ This scenario raises a key question: 👀 Why does competition exist? The answer is simple—to drive improvement and excellence. 💪 ✔ Competition encourages us to step up our game or lose customers. 💯 In North Carolina, for title providers like us, because cost is regulated, success hinges on speed, efficiency, and accuracy. These are the requirements that not only attract business but also retain it. 😎 ❤️ 🎹 🎵 www.keytitlellc.com 980.222.1191 or 919-783-5544 #KeyTitle #titleinsurance #customerexperience #northcarolinarealestate #ncattorney #StgPepppersLonelyHeartsClubBand #thebeatles

The news that GEICO is laying off so much of its workforce is disheartening. Having spent the first half of my career doing insurance defense work, I know how incredibly hard rank-and-file line claims adjusters work. Likewise, I know how, almost uniformly, some of the more head-scratching decisions on claims are made not by the line adjuster, but by regional or national managers with little to no familiarity with the jurisdiction where the claim is pending (typical jury pool, judges, sometimes--sadly--even the applicable law); IMO, a consequence of the wrong-headed decisions made after the 07/08 real estate crash when, among other things, (1) local claims offices were consolidated into regional offices administering claims across numerous, far-away states, and (2) outside insurance defense counsel was replaced with in-house counsel. One of the misconceptions in personal injury is that plaintiff's attorneys have an acrimonious relationship with insurance adjusters. Not true (although, admittedly, there are times when the adage about getting along with "all of the people all of the time" comes to mind). By and large, we get along quite well with the adjusters; indeed, for the sake of our clients, we should try and get along with the adjusters on the other side (bees and honey) to hopefully avoid costly and protracted litigation. The folks who lost their jobs Thursday are human beings, just like the rest of us, and are undoubtedly hurting. Hopefully they will land somewhere else, somewhere better, very soon. https://lnkd.in/g2Pa2pyg
