Ask others their interpretation of you as a person: Seek feedback from trusted friends, family members, or mentors. Their perspective can provide valuable insights into how others perceive you and your strengths. Remember, self-discovery is a journey that takes time and introspection. Such a powerful message.
I'll be honest, I've watched this clip countless times, showed my wife, shared it some of my friends... I've cried... and I've paused and reflected.. it's one of the more powerful clips that you can watch. It's a fantastic demonstration that it’s not what you see on the surface. An incredible way to spread an important message. This video alone could encourage someone to ask the important questions and actually save a life. Kudos to Norwich City Football Club for promoting such an important message

Leadership Inspiration 101: Appreciation As you head into 2024, brands and leaders will continue to face expected and unexpected headwinds. As a result, a committed team will lead the day. While King Henry isn't a coach, he is a leader by simply exercising one winning principle, sharing appreciation. A leader, you may be asking how does this apply to me? It applies to you if you lead people... 1. When was the last time your thanked your team for their efforts? (Annually during the holidays doesn't count 😀). 2. What is the frequency that you share thanks with your team, others throughout your organization, your external partners and most importantly your consumer? We live in a world of data, performance metrics, etc. and yet I wonder how many leaders reading this actually track their appreciation/thank yous? How many leaders is this "second nature" to and don't need to track? One of my favorite quotes is from Maya Angelo, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Imagine how the people that King Henry called out at the press conference that has since gone viral feel today? I am willing to bet, he didn't just say Thank You today, he shows his thanks everyday and as a result made them feel special and a part of the team. That is what great leaders do! With appreciation/thanks...I challenge you to do "More in '24", your team will appreciate you back! Thanks King Henry for giving us a model to follow!! Onward and Upward!
