Christian Kotait, Flore Lestrade, and I are thrilled to announce that Veeton has successfully raised €2 million to transform the fashion industry. Our journey began over two years ago when the three of us took on the challenge of Virtual Try-On: predicting how a garment would look on a body from a simple image. Beyond the technological complexities and excitement, we are igniting a true revolution. Veeton’s mission is to empower fashion brands to generate visual content at scale with just a few clicks, thanks to generative AI. With Veeton, brands can reduce their cost per image by up to ten times and reclaim valuable time. The pace of our progress has been astonishing. In just one year, we’ve partnered with numerous brands, big and small, from France and around the world. We’ve developed two versions of our technology, earned the "deeptech" label, and been incubated by Microsoft in their GenAI program. This fundraising marks just the beginning. We will continue to enhance our models' performance, build our product, and welcome top talents. The next major version is on the horizon, so stay tuned for updates in the coming months. Meet our next tech team member, Jeremy Mrzyglocki and his mission statement. For me, it feels like bringing life into the technical body of the machine when working on the electronics and color-matching algorithm. 🧫 I especially enjoy the iterative process of scribbling down many ideas, discussing some of them, and polishing the few diamonds that one can occasionally find. And some more gems will reveal themselves in the process 💎 A particularly noteworthy moment was one afternoon when working on some tricky code; I realized that we could transfer a niche concept from calculus to describe a special solution for one part of the "Foundation Station". How pleasant it is when theory becomes reality! 👨🏻🎓 I love to get my hands dirty - mostly with liquid foundation for our further "Beautechful" journey and see how we grow in the process. What image comes up when you hear “innovation lab”? Likely: White coat. Goggles. Cutting-edge stuff, like some of these notable innovation labs that have recently emerged: ⚽️Major League Soccer has a “pioneering” one. (The NBA’s 76ers have one, too.) 🍫Mars invested $70m to “[increase] the speed of innovation” on brands like M&M’s and Snickers. 🍑Even the state of Georgia is jumping on the bandwagon with its own “controlled sandbox environment.” As brand after brand flocks to build the next innovation lab, it all begs the question: Has the title lost its moxie? Given that a whopping 90% of so-called innovation labs fail to deliver on their promises, it's worth a closer look.

Today is a big day for me, I was up at 3AM 🎉. 18 months ago, Devon Galloway and I started thinking about the next frontier for video messaging against the trajectory of Generative AI 🤖.
