Rising Together with SGS - Sport for all Genders and Sexualities! For the #EWOS 2023, SGS launches the “Rising Together” Campaign. In today's world, traditional gender roles continue to influence sports in Europe, often leading to unfair treatment and exclusion. We believe it's time to change that! SGS is an #EUcofunded project dedicated to promoting inclusivity in European grassroots sports. Our goal is to ensure everyone, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation, has the opportunity to engage in sports. We're sharing a unique perspective using rugby as an example. In sports like rugby, diverse body types are celebrated as strengths, and this should be valid for any kind of body! Diversity is power! Let's rise together, the change starts on your pitch! Each of Us Has a Role to Play ✊🏾✊🏿🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈 This upcoming legislative session our government will renew attacks on LGBTQ+, Black, and Brown Missourians. It will take all of us fighting to not only hold the line, but also create a state where every single LGBTQ+ person is valued and thriving. Stand with us, be part of the revolution we so desperately need in our state, and help us confront systemic inequities to liberate every LGBTQ+ Missourian from oppression and discrimination. https://lnkd.in/gDpeyqqt

KFF reviewed new public performance data from the 988 crisis line and found high demand for the services designed to meet the needs of young LGBTQ people. We also found people using the LGBTQ service were more likely to encounter certain challenges, including double the call abandonment rate (21% v. 11%) and substantially longer wait times — typically about double the wait time for 988 overall. 🌈Happy Pride!🌈 Pride Month is a crucial time to stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community, celebrate their resilience, and promote acceptance and equality.🌈 The shocking 112% rise in sexual orientation-based hate crimes and the 186% rise in hate crimes against trans people highlight the urgent need for change! 1. We must provide more access to healthcare services: Ensure comprehensive, inclusive, and non-discriminatory health services for LGBTQ+ individuals. 2. We must invest in queer safe spaces to establish and protect physical and online spaces where LGBTQ+ individuals can feel safe and supported. 3. We must promote LGBTQ+ education: Implement educational programs to increase awareness and understanding of LGBTQ+ issues and combat prejudice. 4. We must increase LGBTQ+ visibility and representation: promote queer artists, hire LGBTQ+ individuals in media, politics, and leadership roles to truly celebrate diversity and inclusivity! & much much more!! Not just for pride month but beyond!! Together, we can build a more inclusive and safe society for everyone.💪🏼 #PrideMonth #Equality #Inclusion #StandTogether #Equity #VotewithPride

"Stop making it such a big deal" We hear this about LGBTQ+ representation We hear this about people with health conditions or impairments We hear this about neurodivergent colleagues We hear this about female empowerment We found that under repesented groups have to hear this all the time. Don't highlight your uniqueness too much, but don't deny it either. We strongly disagree. Shine as bright as you can. In order to NORMALIZE being yourself at work, we have to give them space to OWN their uniqueness as part of their personality. Otherwise, we're just blocking their sunshine. 🤯 Easier said than done? Imagine this. ⚽ When the World Cup football is playing, some offices are easily turned into their national football team overload. We see the national colour everywhere, hear about the latest football updates and even watch the games together. NORMAL. Now imagine if we do the same thing with Pride, International Women's day, International Day of Persons with Disabilities. COMPLAINTS. Let's shine a light on everyone, in order to make being unique an advantage instead of a scary endeavour. 💪🏽 We got work to do. Let us know your thoughts or experiences in the comments 👇🏽 #houseofinclusion #dei

A Conversation is two or more people talking about something. It is spontaneous, usually unplanned, though the people may have common interest. There can be about subject, and do not necessarily have a fixed purpose. They allow people with different views of a topic to learn from each other. A conversation may be contrasted with formal presentation. A talk or speech, for example is an oral presentation by one person directed at a group. #Inclusion #Communication #Belongingatworkplace
