Alto Metals Ltd (ASX:AME) is making preparations to kick off the next phase of regional exploration following its discovery of multiple targets at the Sandstone #Gold Project. The company will focus on near-term growth and new discoveries during the ‘high impact’ campaign, with drilling at the Bull Oak, Vanguard and Indomitable prospects. Bull Oak stands out as a single-pit resource with scale potential for additional open-pittable gold. Results from a recent 80-metre step-out drill program intersected multiple stacked lodes including 55 metres at 1.5 g/t gold and 23 metres at 1.1 g/t, with extended mineralisation over 400 metres that remained open. The company hopes to extend mineralisation both up and down dip, as well as along strike and at depth. #BoabMetals today announced the continuation of exploration activities at its Sorby Hills Lead-Silver-Zinc Project with the commencement of the Phase VIII drilling program. The work program will primarily target the Keep Seismic Target located approximately 2km south of the existing Sorby Hills reserves. The initial program includes up to 1,600m across 4 drill holes. Results are in following the October-November 2023 drilling campaign of American Rare Earths Limited (ASX:ARR, OTCQB:ARRNF) at Overton Mountain, in the broader Halleck Creek Rare Earths Project area in Wyoming, and they have been described as "exceptional". The results, which include 11,040 parts per million (ppm) total rare earth oxide (TREO), confirm higher-grade rare earth mineralisation from surface, remaining open at depth. Major intersections from this batch reinforce the strong results recorded following diamond core drilling, and ARR is now confident of a significant measured resource. Coverage stock Rimfire Pacific Mining Limited (ASX: RIM) (initiated @ 2.3c in 2016) has provided an important update with respect to exploration activity at the Bald Hill Prospect, located within its Broken Hill Project in NSW. RIM is currently undertaking a 6-hole/1,000-metre diamond drill program at Bald Hill, designed to test the significance of a very strong magnetic anomaly, which is interpreted to be a potential extension to previously drilled high-grade cobalt (Co) and copper (Cu) mineralisation. The Bald Hill magnetic anomaly trends NNE, dips to the southeast, and has a near-surface extent of 450 x 400 metres, extending to a vertical depth of approximately 300 metres below surface. 3D modelling suggests that the anomaly plunges to the southeast, with RIM’s 2023 diamond holes just “clipping” the top of the anomaly. Encouragingly, the first two holes in the program have successfully intersected multiple broad zones (downhole widths) of sulphide mineralisation, 100 – 200m away from previous high-grade cobalt drill intercepts (assays awaited). Predictive Discovery’s Resource Definition Drilling Strikes Strong Gold Intercepts (ASX: PDI) Andrew Pardey, Managing Director of Predictive Discovery, commented on the findings:  “With PDI’s PFS outlining attractive optimisation opportunities from further resource development work, we have renewed our focus on this as we move forward with the early stages of our DFS field work. The initial results at BC are very encouraging and confirm there is potential to upgrade Inferred Mineral Resources just below the PFS pit designs, which could ultimately lead to an increase in the current 207Koz BC Ore Reserve. Ongoing results reveal 100m-thick rare earths at Mangaroon in WA’s Gascoyne region. The campaign’s headline 100-metre-thick intercept featured 3.01% rare earths, with a 19% neodymium and praseodymium to TREO ratio, from 138m. Riversgold Limited (ASX:RGL) is back on the drills at its Northern Zone Gold Project, 25 kilometres east of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. The new campaign, to be conducted on a nominal 25-metre grid, has been designed to extend promising results from the maiden reverse circulation (RC) and aircore campaigns, which revealed shallower supergene gold mineralisation. Drilling will target the shallow, up-dip portion of the mineralised system, following a significant intersection of 18 metres at 4.14 g/t gold from 36 metres in the initial drilling phase. This new, two-week phase will target the identified fault, believed to be a controlling feature of mineralisation, involving some 1,500 metres of drilling to depths between 60 and 70 metres.
