🚁 Leading by Example: Lion's Leading Staff Members Embrace Helicopter Underwater Emergency Training (HUET) 🌊
In business, exemplary leadership often means more than just making strategic decisions. It means embodying the values and principles that drive success. Today, Lion is proud to highlight the commitment of our esteemed staff members, who are setting a remarkable example by following the Helicopter Underwater Emergency Training (HUET). As our staff members regularly assist and join our service engineers on the quayside, within cement terminals and especially onboard/offshore 🛶.
Cor de Kwant - Executive Owner, said: "We recognize that safety isn't just a box to check—it's a way of life. By undergoing HUET, we demonstrate our dedication to ensuring the safety and well-being of our team members, clients, and partners".
The HUET is a one-day training designed for offshore staff and seafarers who regularly travel to and from their workplace using a helicopter. As many of our bulk handling and liquid mud systems are onboard offshore rigs and ships, it is natural that all our service and flow engineers can fly to customers with a helicopter.
Marcel van Rangelrooij - CEO, adds: "This HUET is just a small part of our safety and health regulations for offshore projects. Most of our engineers have completed the Basic Offshore Safety Introduction and Emergency Training (BOSIT) and have developed vital skills that can be applied offshore and in other situations. It instils qualities like quick decision-making, effective communication, and staying calm under pressure".
Lion applauds our Cor de Kwant, Marcel van Rangelrooij and Thijs Luijsterburg for their commitment to personal and professional development. They understand that excellence isn't an end goal; it's a continuous journey. By setting the bar high and investing in growth, they inspire everyone in our organization to strive for greatness. 🏆
Together, we make safety, resilience, and excellence integral to our Lion journey. 💪
