How I hope neurodivergent people are included in the conversation, of HealthCare Insurance Policies, in the event this has been done, more awareness would go along way...Give me a platform to share my story of raising a neurodivergent child, in this part of the world. The therapy sessions are costly, not to mention that they are available for the financially able. USA Today: The only thing more powerful than the #healthcare industry is all of us. This is the power of huge names from Mark Cuban to Dave Grohl shining a light on an industry that lost its way. While they are shining a light on the problems and progress that can be made tweaking the current system, there's also a parallel industry emerging. They've taken Buckminster Fuller's astute observation: "You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete." The parallel industry gathers each year at RosettaFest. It's inspiring that we have hundreds of clinical leaders, unions, employers, benefits professionals and more bringing to like the call I had in the sub-title to my first book -- "How to Deliver World Class Health Care to Your Employees at Half the Cost." May I ask.....will you be balancing out your marketing strategy by including some feedback from Opal Healthcare's employees ? If you do, I would suggest you look up 'glassdoor', or 'seek', or 'indeed'. There are a substantial number of reviews relating to 'toxic' workplaces, 'bullying', and unaccountability by management. I personally think it is imperative that any prospective client of Opal Healthcare is fully informed on how some of Opal Healthcare's employees have been, and are still being treated. It is only fair. I know personally, that I would never ever give my business to a company who mistreats their employees. Prospective clients should be given the same choice. Be transparent with your marketing Awaken. Opal Healthcare promotes its values as 'compassion', 'accountability', 'respect', and 'excellence'. That is to the uninitiated. Today, I'm thrilled to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Scene Health! Working alongside some of the most brilliant, decent, and hard-working people on the planet has been an honor. I'm grateful for the clinicians, scientists, public health experts, health-plan innovators, technologists, and investors who have contributed to our success. But, it's my fellow "Scenesters" who have dedicated themselves to literally changing the standard of care (which I think is pretty damn cool!) Building a company that survives a decade is no easy feat, but growing one that has improved countless patients' lives is truly rewarding. As we move forward, I'm excited to see what the future holds. Here's to many more years of innovation, impact, and success!
