Harsh sea conditions, with winds, waves and swells, give floating offshore wind farm operators a narrow time window to perform certain operations. We´re about to change that! 🎯 Together with UNITECH Energy Group, we´re developing a remotely operated cable hang-off system that will: 🗓️ Significantly extend the time window for these operations 💰 Dramatically reduce the costs and allow smaller vessels and smaller crew to do the operation ⛑️ Enhance safety – no personnel needs to board the wind turbines at sea Just before Christmas, we built a wind turbine demo test site and successfully tested the system onshore.
