IndustryARC™ The global packaging market is expected to reach around USD 1.13 trillion by 2030 ➡️ 𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝑴𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝑰𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 @ https://lnkd.in/gHhathhJ Sustainability concern for plastic material along with the increased awareness of consumers regarding the #environmental issues are promoting the growth of metal as an eco-friendly packaging material. Nowadays, metal has become even more popular because of its durability and #sustainabilitypacking properties. These qualities have been growth promoting factors for the metal packaging companies. Aluminum and steel metals are the two most important types of metals, which are 100% recyclable and also protect food from contamination ➡️ 𝑫𝒐𝒘𝒏𝒍𝒐𝒂𝒅 𝑺𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕 https://lnkd.in/gEQHZP_k There is an increase in adoption of metal packaging by organic food producers, as they are more concerned about #health benefits and consumer satisfaction. Additionally, protective and preserving traits of this packaging are enhancing the reputation of organic produce. ·The potential of metals for reusability and their accessibility for infinite recyclability without any degradation in the physical properties results in the protection of #rawmaterials and energy. During the ChemTECH World Expo, in March 2024, in Mumbai, I presented my insights on the topic- Emerging Business Opportunities in Specialty Chemicals for the tyre sector. “The tyre industry is transforming to meet the growing demand for fuel-efficient, safe, and regulation-compliant tyres. The use of innovative and sustainable materials has revolutionized tyre performance while reducing its environmental impact. With an increase in demand from OEMs, Truck Radialisation, and global opportunities arising from the 'China plus one' strategy, the Indian tyre business is expected to double in the coming decade. This upswing in the tyre industry presents an opportunity for indigenous production of tyre raw materials, including specialty chemicals. Business continuity and supply security, especially under challenging global conditions are crucial drivers for promoting the indigenization of specialty chemicals. Collaboration between raw material suppliers and the tyre industry, along with a focus on research and development capabilities, fosters innovation. An increased focus on improved product quality is expected from specialty chemical suppliers”

🌍 **Addressing Carbon Emissions in the Textile Industry: Join Us at ITM Exhibition!** 🌍 The textile industry is a significant contributor to global carbon emissions, and with the advent of carbon border taxes, the need for sustainable practices is more urgent than ever. 🌱 The European Union's (EU) Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is a plan that gradually introduces a carbon emissions tariff to support the decarbonization of the EU industry. The initial phase requires importers to report the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions 🏭 of products sold into Europe, including textiles. Importers who don't report these emissions may face financial penalties. Some estimates suggest that a carbon tax on airfreighted goods could add US\$1.68 per item from Bangladesh to the UK and US\$2.65 per item from Bangladesh to the US East coas At **Beneks Makine ** we're committed to leading the charge towards a greener future. 🌍 Our innovative solutions are designed to significantly reduce carbon emissions, ensuring that your operations not only comply with evolving regulations but also contribute positively to our planet. Discover how Beneks Makine can help you navigate these changes and achieve your sustainability goals. The nonwovens sector is going strong. INDA's 2024 supply report shows a promising increase in production capacity of over 230,000 tonnes between 2022 and 2023. This growth is unlikely to stop anytime soon, creating valuable opportunities for the market. But what I was most excited to hear was the shift towards more sustainable production. This growth shouldn't come at the expense of the planet, and I'm glad to see such a move toward sustainable goals within the industry. #Sustainability #INDA #Nonwovens #NonwovensTrends
