9th April 2024 Singapore At Credo Diagnostics, environmental concerns are an important part of our daily life. Starting from ECCMID 2024, we made a deliberate intention to go “brochure-less” at our Booth. It is our effort to promote sustainability. What can we save, one may ask? Printing may seem like a small, trivial, and harmless task, but it can have a significant carbon footprint if collectively, everyone does not care. 1.     The production of paper from other raw materials can also emit carbon dioxide. This is because the paper manufacturing process is a complex and resource-intensive process that involves converting raw materials such as wood, recycled paper, or other plant-based fibers into high-quality paper products. 2.     Although it has a lower carbon footprint, most will not use recyclable paper as the downside is that the paper quality may not be as good (bright) as compared to the normal printing paper. 3.     The transportation of materials to and from the printing facility, as well as the final distribution of the printed brochures, also adds to the carbon footprint. 4.     The amount and type of ink used may also impact carbon emissions. Some printing inks may contain volatile organic compounds which contribute to air pollution and may have a higher carbon footprint. 5.     As the contents in the brochure may need to be updated occasionally, any unused already printed older version becomes useless, especially when there is a minimum order quantity to print the hard copies. More importantly, trees act as carbon sinks by absorbing carbon dioxide from the air and storing it. To our visitors at our Booth E41, do bear with us if you need to scan the QR code to download the digital copy. We will provide 7 visible locations to do so. Do approach Alice Tsai, our Marketing Coordinator, who will guide you through the easy process. Above all, you are doing your part towards sustainability! “Ask not what the world can do for you, but what you can contribute to the health of the world”.

Join Credo Diagnostics Biomedical at ECCMID 2024 in Barcelona! We have gone #digital with our information materials. Take a look at our new Credo Digital Brochures at Booth #E41. Doing our part in reducing paper waste, our digital brochures help us to embrace eco-friendly practices. Offering a digital alternative not only conserves resources but also underscores our contribution towards corporate social responsibility. Attendees at ECCMID 2024 will be among the first to receive our digital materials. See you at Booth #E41, and give us feedback on making it even better. #BoothE41 #Hall7 #Barcelona #ECCMID2024 #DigitalBrochures #Sustainability #PatientOutcomes #CredoDiagnostics #AdvancedMedicalTechnologiesforAll
