🔥 HUGE NEWS 🔥 📣 WE ARE VERY HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT Nordic Health Lab HAS RECEIVED A NEW GRANT OF 12 MILLION DKK FROM Industriens Fond. 📣 💡 With the new grant, Nordic Health Lab can ensure innovative healthcare solutions for patients and staff while strengthening the collaboration between companies and the healthcare system. ✨ Thomas Hofman-Bang, CEO of Industriens Fond says: "With this additional grant, we will contribute to ensure that Danish solutions - that can truly make a difference - have better conditions and path into the healthcare system, from where they can grow and expand internationally. Here, we have already seen that Nordic Health Lab has done a significant and important work." ✨ Jesper Juel-Helwig, CEO of Nordic Health Lab explains: "Now, we can create more partnerships with hospitals and municipalities that can test company solutions. At the same time, we can enhance our screening and testing capacity, allowing more innovative companies to validate their solutions. Additionally, we will focus on creating a unified and efficient gateway for companies to access the healthcare system, which is sorely lacking today." ✨ Hospital Director at Nordsjællands Hospital, Bente Ourø Rørth, is also happy about the news: "At Nordsjællands Hospital, we have tested several innovative solutions through our collaboration with Nordic Health Lab. For instance, we have implemented NordInsight's database solution, which can make MRI scans safer. Therefore, we appreciate that our collaboration with Nordic Health Lab can continue, and they can expand the testing network and synergies for scaling, as well as for cross-regional and cross-sectoral collaboration on new solutions. What is the role of healthcare in our society? How can we improve the Croatian healthcare system, which was designed in a time that is far behind us and for a society that no longer exists? These questions are increasingly being raised due to significant demographic and technological changes that affect the healthcare system in Croatia. Therefore, on June 6th and 7th, Pavilion 13 at the Zagreb Fair will host the most relevant global and Croatian actors as part of the second edition of a unique regional conference on healthcare – HealthComm Forum 2024. The goal of this year's Forum is to achieve a consensus among participants on the mentioned social contract and to open a discussion on the necessary steps to redefine the healthcare system and restore citizens' trust in it.

I love it when my colleagues share their experience and knowledge. We can all learn the theory but how do we implement mandatory requirements so that they are both compliant and practical? Auria Albacete, representing #Biocat, has moderated a panel in which different stakeholders have presented this ground-breaking initiative, with: 🗣️ Ramon Maspons Bosch | Catalan Ministry of Health 🗣️ Xavier Cos | Catalan Institute of Health 🗣️ Enrique Hernández | Loop Dx 💡 The speakers have emphasized how important the paradigm shift is: the system must be able to define and share its needs, so that #innovators will be able to develop targeted solutions for unmet clinical needs. Improving Diagnostics Role of NGS

It was a great pleasure hosting the expert panel of the Sustainable Market Initiative (SMI) Patient Care Pathway Working Group at #Sanofi last week. Our collective ambition is to tackle the challenge of #healthcaresystem decarbonization while improving health outcome.   The healthcare sector is responsible for approx. 5% of total global emissions and 45% of that 5% is contributed by the patient care pathway (PCP).  Sponsored by Sanofi CEO Paul Hudson, the group which includes a cross section of corporate, government and academia, is working on initiatives to identify emissions hotspots during care pathways, clinical trials and product life cycles with the goal to roll out action plans and to call-for-actions through education. We shared our respective initiatives with the aim to cross-fertilize and explore collective opportunities and innovations to enable wide exposure and adoption. 🤩 On May 23, Steven Vandeput, PhD. will represent our federation at Radical Health Festival Helsinki, a 3-day event bringing together people, data, and innovations to help scale prevention and precision in European healthcare. Steven will participate in a panel on the #reimbursement and adoption of #digitalhealth technologies, alongside experts from five other countries: Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and, of course Finland. 🖤💛❤ During the panel, special attention will be given to three countries: France with its #PECAN model, Germany with #DiGA, and ... Belgium with our reimbursement framework for #mhealth solutions. Something to be proud of, being a small country in Europe. And at the same time, an encouragement to do even better? 💪 In any case, we are convinced Belgium can become a frontrunner in the use of innovative digital medical technologies to support healthcare providers and patients. That is if we dare to think radically outside the box from time to time. Also on our agenda in Finland? 👉 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 with experts from Germany, France, and other European countries. 👉 𝗚𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 that we can bring back to Belgium to share with policymakers, our members, and other healthcare stakeholders. 👉 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 with #mHealthBelgium with stakeholders from other countries.
