As we round out Q1, I feel inspired to share a few highlights of my first quarter at Connie Health as the Regional General Manager for Arizona.
1. Woah baby!, where did the time go?! In our industry, its typical for everything to build towards Q4, the annual election period for our Medicare clients. Now, my Agents are also my "customers" and what a critical time it is to build rapport, deliver mentorship, rethink things that weren't working and makes moves to grease the engine!
2.Responsiveness: being ready and available to the many moving parts of a great organization is paramount. It never seems to amaze me how quickly my colleagues are to collaborate, problem solve, and cheerlead. I hope to mirror that excitement and commitment every day.
3.try.new.things. Share your ideas + actively listen to your colleagues. welcome "devil's advocate" thinking. always consult invested parties for intel and buy in. we make smart moves when we move together.
4. Emotionally intelligent AND data-driven leadership skills are of equal importance in building a high performing team. I've been spreading my wings on digging in to data, interpreting what I hear and see. Technology is my friend and in order to run a high performing team, data gives me insight into their pain points and areas of improvement.
That's all for now, back to being a sponge! 2024 is the year our legacy market develops some new heavy hitters in our Agent line-up. When you operate with integrity and heart, all you can do is win. 🚀
