Thanks John! Great questions about what is DragonGC, how a Stanford Ph.D helps, and how we address halllucinations. - DragonGC applies AI to authoritative sources that inhouse counsel needs for shareholder communication, corporate governance and compliance. - By investing in a robotics spinoff from OpenAI in 2017, I learned the value of foundational data - Do you want a random user on reddit advising your company, or leverage the SEC's CD&Is ["Compliance and Disclosure Interpretations"]?
Legal Meets AI: DragonGC Co-Founder & CTO 👉Michael Weiksner, Ph.D. at Nasdaq The in-person interview was joined by Editor-in-Chief John Jannarone to discuss the company’s AI-backed support to in-house counsel with shareholder communication, corporate governance and compliance based on reliable sources like the SEC and organized public disclosures, and more. Our industry has used artificial intelligence classifiers for years through tools like predictive coding and automated records classification engines. Generative artificial intelligence is now impacting practice areas beyond document review and records management. On November 9, Aron Ahmadia - Senior Director of Applied Science at Relativity - joins panelists at the Georgetown Global Advanced eDiscovery Institute to explore the use of generative AI in the practice of law. I am very much looking forward to moderating the panel discussion on the future of Legal Tech at the LEGAL FORUM EU-EASTERN PARTNERSHIP on May 24 in Warsaw. This is the third time that I am involved in this forum, representing the European Legal Technology Association (ELTA), and in this short time the conference has grown into a platform to unite lawyers from all corners of Europe and beyond. I am especially grateful to Yaroslav Romanchuk and his team for consistently putting legal technology and innovation on the agenda. Making a meaningful prediction about the future is always tricky. You think you have figured it out, and then something unexpected happens - genAI enters the industry or Gartner raises the bar by predicting that the market doubles in three years 😀. But apart from what is happening at the surface (which is important, no doubt), there are undercurrents that are not changing that rapidly. Curious to hear what my fellow panelists, who come from different parts of the legal industry, think about where we are going. #legaltech #futureoflaw
