Building a law firm has been a journey filled with valuable lessons, especially regarding marketing and creating awareness. When I opened my firm, my initial approach to marketing was centered around a blog focused on my expertise in workers' compensation. The goal was simple: attract consumers in need of legal representation for work-related injuries. The results, however, were surprising. While the intent was to direct consumers to my expertise, the blog actually caught the attention of other attorneys who began referring cases to me, and this played a crucial role in getting my business off the ground. This experience taught me a few vital lessons, which have been reinforced over the last 17 years: 1.
