Please share with your networks, friends, family, and coworkers! Today on #WorldDenseBreastDay, we are sharing what is at the heart of the matter. Why do we even NEED this day? This image says it all! #BreastDensity makes it harder to find cancer on mammograms, and it is also a significant risk factor for developing breast cancer. The bottom line - if you have dense breasts, you need MORE than a mammogram to find your cancer early, yet many people still don't know this, and either can't or don't get the essential additional screening they need. Today, on #MetastaticBreastCancerDay, we honor the strength and resilience of those living with metastatic breast cancer. While Stage IV breast cancer has spread to other parts of the body, early detection can play a crucial role in preventing progression and improving outcomes. With advancements in AI-powered detection, like iCAD’s ProFound AI, we aim to catch breast cancer earlier, when treatment is most effective. Let’s continue to support those affected, raise awareness about the importance of early detection, and advocate for more research to find better treatments—and, one day, a cure. Together, we can make a difference. https://bit.ly/4duGBjE #LightUpMBC #MBC #busylivingwithmets #MetastaticBreastCancer #EarlyDetection #BreastCancerAwareness #ProFoundAI #BreastHealth
