🚛🌍 International eHighway Network Meeting: Proven Technology Ready for Deployment – Now It’s Time for Strong Political Action 💡
Last Wednesday, our ELISA team co-organized and participated in the International eHighway Network Meeting at House of Logistics and Mobility (HOLM) GmbH in Frankfurt, bringing together around 100 participants from Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, and the UK. 🇩🇪🇸🇪🇳🇱🇬🇧
We exchanged insights with active test track projects like FESH, eWayBW, and ELISA, and learned about the promising new BEE project from RWTH Aachen University 🚛💨
👷♂️ Truck drivers' shared their invaluable perspectives from real-world experiences during💡three interactive workshops:
🔌 Overhead catenary systems in the European context.
🚧 Scaling and operating overhead line infrastructure.
🔗 Integrating overhead lines into the technology mix.
The event concluded with a powerful message from the final panel discussion: The technology works, is ready for large-scale deployment, and offers significant benefits. What’s needed now is strong political commitment to drive implementation. 🚦✅
We’re proud to have contributed to this inspiring event and remain committed to advancing the electrification of road freight. 🚚⚡
Let's keep pushing toward a sustainable transport future! 💪💚
