And here's the video that shares the story of Anseye Pou Ayiti, Nedgine Paul Deroly, Jean-Claude Brizard-Claude and many other visionaries who have been working for a new educational future for Haiti.
We’re thrilled to share that the John P. and Anne Welsh McNulty Foundation and The Aspen Institute have named Nedgine Paul Deroly (CEO and Co-Founder of Anseye Pou Ayiti) and Jean-Claude Brizard (Digital Promise President and CEO as well as Founding Board Chair of Anseye Pou Ayiti) as winners of the 2024 #McNultyPrize. By building a culture and curriculum that embraces Haitian identity, APA is disrupting an oppressive colonial education system by offering a new model of civic leadership and community transformation. Through immersive fellowships for teachers, parents, and others in the community, they are on track to equip 50,000 leaders by 2025.
