"TITAN Group is at the forefront of #transforming the #building #materials sector towards a #netzero future. Our commitments go beyond compliance, focusing on #innovation in low carbon building materials and strategic #partnerships to drive #sustainabledevelopment", said Alexandros Katsiamboulas, TITAN Group's ESG Director, at the panel “Building Tomorrow: Innovations Driving the Green Transition in Construction” during the European Sustainable Industry Summit 2024 in Brussels hosted by CSR Europe . At the panel, we engaged in insightful discussions with representatives from the entire #construction #valuechain, including Lamda Development. We are partnering with them in the development of a new green city #TheEllinikon, a major urban redevelopment project on the site of the former Ellinikon International Airport in Athens, Greece. Highlights from TITAN remarks:  ➡️ Path to net zero emissions: TITAN Group has set ambitious #targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Looking ahead, our vision includes achieving net-zero emissions across our entire value chain by 2050.  ➡️ Innovation & sustainable construction: At TITAN, promoting #green #products with reduced carbon footprints is paramount. We've introduced advanced types of cement that significantly lower CO2 emissions towards #sustainableconstruction. This commitment underscores TITAN's pivotal role in transforming our product portfolio to enhance environmental sustainability and support our #customers for resilient infrastructure development worldwide. During the Summit, Alexandros also participated in the CSR Europe General Assembly and represented TITAN at the kickoff Chief Sustainability Officers meeting while alongside John Mastoris, TITAN Sustainability Integration Manager, participated in a roundtable discussion on sustainable reporting, sharing insights and best practices. #TITAN #sustainablegrowth
