Hiring is a team sport. The recruiter and hiring manager discuss the standards of hiring. They establish what "good" looks like. Recruiters serve as advisors in finding talent and provide feedback to the candidates and hiring managers. Often, the hiring manager works with the internal team to set up the interview protocols.
