If you are a recruiter in Birmingham and specialise in a sector that can relate to the built environment, take a look at Louis Stewart He's currently hiring, and for the right person, this is going to be a great opportunity. Yes there is a generous commission scheme and salary, but lets face it - you can say that about a lot of recruitment companies. The war on talent for the last few years has been fierce, companies have stepped up and actually, there is more similarities between companies than there ever has been.. So lets talk about what is unique about this role Micro management is a hell no - This isn't a rookie position. We are looking for an experienced recruiter, you know you are doing. You will have all the support you need if and when you need it, but checking on how many calls you have made, or asking for updates every 5 minutes isn't really the vibe. What does your current progression look like? Can you build and manage a team, or do you have to wait for a current manager to leave? Can you get to Associate Director level? They said you can, but can you really.. is there a clear path for you to get where you want to be? The future at Moore Green Recruitment LTD is in your hands. Want to manage, no problem, you can have the opportunity to build a team... don't want to manage, that's fine too. There are other routes you can go down that means your career is progressing, but you don't have to manage people - not everyone wants to. Flexibility - We have all probably experienced companies who say they are flexible, but when it comes to it, they aren't really. I've seen companies market themselves as operating a hybrid working model... when in reality, you're lucky if you get 1 day a fortnight. Moore Green was created with a better approach in mind. You can recruit without being chained to a desk. You can do the school run, walk your dog in the afternoon, have a genuine hybrid model. We know good recruiters get the job done. It doesn't matter how. If you want to earn decent money, work for a normal person, be treated like an adult, and have multiple options for your career path, lets chat. #recruitment #birmingham #builtenvironment #hiring

CEO @ Dovetail & Slate | Education Recruitment Experts | CEO of Talentia Group | Employment Consultancy | Employer Branding | B Corp Certified | ADHD Infused | Workplace Culture | Hiring Process Management | RPO/MSP/MS |
I've had loads of new connections recently - so I thought lets share a bit about what I do. I run one of the UK's largest FE recruitment companies. We have offices in four cities and work with almost every college and large ITP in the UK. It's our job to help recruit and retain the next generation of educators in partnership with our clients and find those people with education experience a new home that suits them. We also have some brilliant CPD events to ensure we invest back into the sector. We've been doing this for 6 years as Dovetail & Slate | B Corp™ and have placed nearly 10,000 people! I also own Talentia Technologies | B Corp™ that is a specialist in technology and sales teams within technology run by Owen Lovell, who is an expert in his field. Also, in the all-star lineup for recruitment brands, I have Innotech Partners | B Corp™, your go-to Engineering, Construction, and Sustainability partner with Andy Stone, currently leading the brand. Finally, we have Talentia Talent Services | B Corp™, which houses both our Managed Service product and our People Consulting arm - again headed by Andy Stone - if you're not sure your hiring process is working for your strategic objectives, we can help make it so. Whether this is just a hiring process review to ensure it's working as you expect, or a full hiring process rebuild, we've got you covered. So if you hire people and you need some additional support that doesn't break the bank, you can reach out to me to ask me anything people-related. I've got 10 years of experience in recruitment, 6 of those running my own business and advising other businesses on people strategies, but it's not just me - we've got a hugely experienced team who understand this space in and out. My hobbies include working, working and more work (plus eating, sleeping and of course the holidays) In my spare time I chair, FULL CIRCLE @DOCKLANDS LTD supporting Charmaine Lawrence in achieving our collective mission. Oh, and did I say I like food? So yeah, I do some things, mainly related to people, and if anyone asks, I occasionally say I'm a letting agent because they've got a slightly better reputation than most recruiters... #people #education #engineering #construction #technology #recruitment #managedservices #peopleiswhatwedo

Calling all hiring managers As many of you are aware, Unlocked hasn't been able to agree contractual terms with the MoJ to allow us to keep recruiting participants beyond our existing cohorts. Whilst we're still hoping we can find a fix, it's meant we've had to make some really tough decisions. The toughest of these is undoubtedly saying goodbye to our recruitment and marketing team. The same team which has just spearheaded Unlocked's most successful recruitment campaign ever. The numbers don't lie: more than 40 applications for every place on the programme = our biggest, sharpest and most diverse cohort = greater impact on prisoner outcomes = quicker progress towards the system change we so desperately need. Put simply, they have excelled and if there was any way we could keep them, we would. Unfortunately, we can't and this means they're now looking for jobs. They have a range of skills - a few of which I’ve highlighted below - and each of them would be a real asset to any organisation. If you have roles to fill please do get in touch with me or connect with those individuals directly linked below. - On-campus attraction activity - Cultivation event planning and execution - Candidate selection - Start to finish candidate journey - Onboarding activities - Omnichannel marketing and comms https://lnkd.in/ezYu-bwV https://lnkd.in/eGz2nahs https://lnkd.in/eFs3gwvg https://lnkd.in/eWC_FbTE https://lnkd.in/eD8Dd3zW https://lnkd.in/efYhCiVw

“What was your journey into Recruitment?” So, this week I was asked the question of how I stumbled into the world of recruitment, and it made me chuckle a little as my initial introduction was under very interesting circumstances. I began my journey into the world of IT recruitment a month before the lockdown started, which was challenging. Having only worked in the office for a short time, working remotely meant navigating through a whole new experience and really finding my feet from home with just my laptop and phone. Fortunately, I quickly adapted and was thrilled to make my first placement shortly after, which was a huge milestone of course. I can certainly say it was a blessing to be given the opportunity at the time, instead of being given marching orders (for obvious reasons). Recruitment has its highs and lows. From the high of placing the perfect candidate to the low of deals falling through, it’s a non-stop rollercoaster. But every moment has been worth it. Switching careers was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Now, with over 4 years in IT recruitment, I love helping talented IT professionals find their next opportunity. So, here's to the next four years and the opportunities that lie ahead! #Recruitment #ITrecruitment #remote #lockdown #technology #career

Group Director at Heads Resourcing Group | Helping organisations access the best Procurement talent in the UK | EDI Champion
On the road today interviewing people as part of our ‘work for us’ drive. We are continuing to thrive, and investment in people and office spaces to supercharge the next phase of our scale up is high on the agenda. Last year was an exceptional year for most recruitment companies but how many can say they are still in growth mode and beating FY22…..🙋♀️ We have opportunities for all levels of seniority in both our London and Hampshire locations. ✔️ We care about the industry deeply and want to deliver recruitment as a professional service ✔️ People are not numbers. They are human beings with lives and feelings. If you are lacking in EQ, please don’t apply 😊 ✔️ We care about your career and development and will tailor both internal and external training programmes to suit your needs ✔️We are grown up. Yes we have fun and yes we celebrate individuals and team success but we are mature and respectful of individuals interests and cultures. What is fun to one person isn’t fun to another. If this is what you want from an organisation, I would love to speak to you. What we want in return: ✔️Demonstrate our values: Do the right thing, exceed expectations, reward relationships ✔️ Relationship builders. No email warriors. ✔️ Work hard, have fun, change lives #recruiterjobs #wearehiring

“Look Mum, I DID A THING!” Today, I’m announcing the launch of RiseUp Recruitment 🇮🇪 🇬🇧 As this post is on LinkedIn and if my surname hasn't already given it away - I’m Irish ☘️ and two years ago I moved to London. When I made the transition to working in London, I deeply missed my support network. New city, no local friends (yet), no Barry’s tea 🫖 - It wasn’t easy. I'm now dedicated to giving Irish talent all the support they need to secure meaningful employment in the UK and fully experience all London has to offer. → Many people don’t know that Ireland has one of the best education systems in the world. 💡 In fact, it’s top-ranked in the OECD for higher education attainment.* 🌍 There is SO much Irish talent waiting to be matched with the right opportunities here in the UK. Since Brexit it feels like the countries have drifted further apart, which is a massive shame - London offers exciting new opportunities and Ireland can deliver fresh, hard-working talent. I hope that RiseUp Recruitment can be a small bridge over the Irish Sea, bringing our countries a little closer together. 🤝 ________ If you are: 🇬🇧 A UK company looking to diversify your talent pool, send me a DM 👋 🇮🇪 Irish talent looking for a role in the UK, send me a DM 👋

As the local recruitment market gains momentum following the summer break, we’re observing some subtle changes. From UK recruitment freezes and a growing trend in financial services is the return-to-office mandate. Companies that previously offered fully flexible work arrangements are now moving toward hybrid models, requiring employees to spend increased days in the office. For candidates, this changing landscape can make it difficult to find roles that offer the right balance of benefits and flexibility. That’s where partnering with an experienced recruiter can make all the difference, helping you navigate these shifts and find the right opportunity for your career. If you're seeking the right fit, reach out today to explore the opportunities we have available. We're here to help you find the ideal role in this evolving market. 🔍 https://lnkd.in/e6SqkMQj

I'm in Liverpool Street, in the City of London, today, and I can't believe how busy it is. 96% of the population are employed. Contributing to an acute talent shortage. Three "Qs" sum up the hiring dilemma: 1) Qualified Every year work becomes more precise. This means more precise skills are required of people to be hired. 2) Quality Every year, employers apply greater scrutiny of skills required i.e. they seek people of a higher quality/calibre 3) Quantity The tech sector is growing at c 8% per annum, the SaaS sector by c. 12% but there's no commensurate growth in the candidate pool, so there's a capacity gap. We see employers considering as many as 21 characteristics when assessing and reflecting on candidate suitability. ➡️ However, 96% of the population are employed. ➡️ Employment in the current era is at a high point when measured over the last 25 years. ➡️ There's an expression: "The wrong workers in the wrong places"... Meaning those who are unemployed are often people who don't have the skills required, track record/experience and who may have gaps in ability and capability. Our areas of specialism are recruiting for SaaS and digital companies in the USA and UK, focusing on senior roles in Leadership, Sales, Marketing, and Consulting, typically paying £100-300k base $150-400k. We work mainly with early-stage/scale-up companies with 20 to 500 employees. These companies operate in complex and competitive markets, and the stakes for these types of companies are high. So they're very precise. ➡️ This level of high expectations means that if you're hiring, you'll need to commence hiring sooner rather than later because it's taking longer to source high-quality people with very precise skills, experience and aligned motivations. ➡️ With a skills shortage, employers are turning to headhunters like us, to identify, target, approach and entice people who are employed, high-performer types, well integrated in their existing employment and only accessible using a headhunting approach. BTW: We're employer-focused, don't help people find jobs, and don't register candidates. #retainedsearch #esg #ai #epm #cxo
