A product life cycle assessment at Orbia’s Connectivity Solutions business (Dura-Line), found that its MicroDucts and FuturePath® ECO products, which incorporate reworked materials from the internal manufacturing process, provide a 44% reduction in carbon footprints compared with the equivalent standard products. The small-diameter products are designed to provide a pathway for fiber-optic cables, saving space. Orbia has conducted life cycle assessments across many products in its portfolio to better understand the environmental impact and inform more eco-friendly design. In 2018, a significant milestone was reached: the merging of our diverse business units under one name, Colubris Cleantech, while we expanded our expertise to Bioresource Solutions. Now, 40 years later, with more than 4,000 projects realized in over 70 countries, offices in Oman and Hungary, our family has grown to 120 employees. This journey has not only expanded us geographically but also our capacity to contribute to a more sustainable world.
