Against the backdrop of service disruption from unexpected exits of longstanding service providers in our communities and massive infrastructure failures from health plans I couldn't be more proud of the work that MMHC team has completed over the last 6 months to continue the uninterupted delivery of services all while undergoing a complete refresh of MMHC into what we believe is the best place to get care, practice as BH clinician, and develop and build a career. A couple reflections on what we found and where we're going: 1. Elevating the expectations for service - when we looked to understand how potential clients were choosing a clinic/clinician we found that the two most important criteria were (1) availability and (2) in-network status. We want to be more than just available and affordable and have been working hard to weave quality and client/team experience as the core of every aspect of our operations. From anchoring our clinician matching on evidence-based principles that we know are more likely to lead to better outcomes for clients, to incorporating ongoing feedback from our teams directly into our strategic priorities and investment priorities we are living our values as an employee led mission oriented organization. 2. We don't want our clinicians to work on commission - we wanted to make space for our teams to focus on quality and client experience rather than visit volume and that meant getting our business processes and clinicians off the productivity treadmill. A centerpiece of that move is the introduction of a set of flexible salary based compensation options for our clinicians that allow for consistent pay and incentivize clinicians to focus on delivering a quality experience to our clients and helping them achieve their treatment goals. This has been a learning experience and one that is already showing results in our client and clinician feedback and sets the stage for us to lead the way in measuring and driving quality in behavioral health. A lot more to come there! The results of that work are a re-commitment to the "small clinic" operating model that has made us a special place for 40 years, a revamped team experience with updated roles, support and compensation options, and a plan to invest and grow our coverage to increase access to an offering that we believe is elevating behavioral health in the communities we serve and our for team members. If you're interested in learning more please reach out to me, Meghan Miller, PsyD, LP, or Chase Seiberlich!
MMHC is a growing mission-oriented group practice of ~100 clinicians that has been delivering an integrated service offering of therapy, medication management, case management, and outpatient group services to about 6,000 clients across the state of Minnesota each year for over 40 years. And we are looking to build on that foundation with like-minded individuals, who care about delivering quality, personalized care to our community. We also know the twin cities community has recently been hit with tough news on multiple fronts, from closures to reimbursement challenges, and we have multiple openings for those looking for new opportunities, including fully remote and virtual. https://lnkd.in/gTHU5RD9 Reach out to our people leader Chase Seiberlich today to schedule time or message about how MMHC could support you in your career from where you are now to where you want to go. https://lnkd.in/g8X8pnRW #Hiring #Therapist #Therapy #Psychology #Minnesota #TwinCities #LICSW #LPCC #LMFT #PsyD #LP #PhD #MentalHealth #SocialWork #SocialWorker #Psychologist #Counselor #Counselling #Psychotherapy #JobOpening
