"Fantasy Sports is too complicated. I would love to play, but who has time to keep up with all the players?" 👍Hit that like button if you agree. I love sports. I love to gamble (blackjack is my game). But I never got into fantasy sports because it was too time consuming and overwhelming to me. So when my neighbor, now business partner, told me about this app he was building, I was initially turned off because he said it was fantasy sports. Lucky for me I let him explain further and when he described the team concept (you pick teams for scoring categories), my eyes lit up and I knew immediately he was onto something and I wanted to be a part of the journey. This was something I would play and I know there are a lot of fans like me who find traditional fantasy too intimidating. So, here I am, Co-Founder and CEO of Fantasy Sports EVO ~ where you pick TEAMS instead of Players. By eliminating the need to know all the players, their stats, etc. we make fantasy sports accessible to ALL sports fans. Our goal is to get more women betting on sports and more people betting on women's sports. We added the WNBA last year and will be adding the NWSL in the spring. If you are reading this, I would appreciate it if you check us out and share with your friends. You can download the app or use our mobile friendly website (links in comments). I would love to hear your feedback. Fantasy Sports EVO is super easy, super fun and for ALL sports fans! #DFS #Betonwomen #sportsbetting #gaming #fantasysports #womeninsports

At Fanbers, we believe in the power of fandom to uplift, inspire, and create memorable experiences. Fans are the heartbeat of any sports event, and their energy can truly change the game. However, we understand the importance of channeling that energy in a positive and respectful manner. Imagine a stadium where every fan is united, singing in harmony, with synchronized slogans tailored to the moment. With Fanbers, club representatives can broadcast these messages directly to fans’ mobile devices, and all fans can see the slogans on their mobils' screen and can sing and support their team and of course enjoy more form being togegher. This feature is named Fanchant in Fanbers. Our goal is to provide fans with the tools to express their passion constructively and in a way that enhances the experience for everyone involved. We believe that when fans are engaged in a positive way, they can influence the outcome not just of the game, but of the entire event, while upholding the highest standards of sportsmanship. Let’s change the game together—one positive cheer at a time. #Fanbers #Fandom #PositiveEnergy #Sportsmanship #FanEngagement

https://lnkd.in/gZgWcbuf Time to Reignite the Game! Today’s players have advanced their skills beyond the regulation court, with analytics favoring three-point shots—even from the tallest players. The result? Players often post on the perimeter, reducing the excitement from drives to the hoop that once defined the game. Magic & Michael... It’s time to innovate and reignite the action: Introduce “HotSpots”: Designated areas close to the basket worth four points to encourage drives and dunks. Add a four-point line: Reward longer shots or even place it inside the 3 point line to promote dynamic movement. Implement a countdown clock with All SHOTS during this time worth four points. All this is possible with my patented concept, HotSpot Hoops: My US LED COURT Patent 9,421,457 provides dynamic court changes in real-time. These concepts were successfully showcased at the 2024 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. Fans can Vote to add or move elements with U.S. Patent 10,104,329, making them a part of the action. Sports evolve to stay engaging—MLB’s pitch clock, CBB’s shot clock, and the NBA’s three-point line are examples. Faster, more dynamic gameplay attracts young fans and generates more dynamic highlights. Basketball has always been about pushing boundaries. Let’s adapt the game to match the skills and energy of today’s incredible athletes.

I love going on adventures. While the actual journey itself is exciting, one of my favorite parts of the adventure is reflecting on the experience and sharing the stories once it’s over. And if I did the adventure right, I get so caught up in the excitement I start planning the next one before I’m even home. To that end, today marks the completion of one adventure and the beginning of another as G. Byron Abrigg and I’s company, Mission Control, has been acquired by LeagueSpot. As the Mission Control adventure comes to a close, I look forward to sharing the many exciting and excruciating stories that Byron and I experienced along the way. Some of them are not unlike the typical lessons learned by many startup founders and some are unique episodes I think could only happen when surrounded by the incredible cast of teammates, supporters, and customers who traveled alongside us on the Mission Control journey. A simple post on social media will never properly convey the depth of appreciation I have for the people who supported us through the peaks and valleys of the startup experience, but nevertheless I say to each of you: Sincerely, thank you. At the same time, I am also thrilled about the possibilities for the future as Mission Control joins a new adventure at LeagueSpot alongside Andrew H Barnett. Byron and I loved playing rec league sports with our friends; to us, rec sports were an excuse to spend time together and gather with our communities. We also loved playing video games but there was no similar “recreational” structure, so, we built a company that used recreational gaming to gather and grow communities, too. Andrew & LeagueSpot share in this mission and have successfully gathered communities through gaming for years. Their competition platform and range of services are the best in the industry. By joining LeagueSpot, Mission Control will be able to better serve its customers by welcoming a wider range of competitions, a more thorough user experience, and an excellent, privacy-focused data strategy for end-users. In addition (and something I am very excited about), customers will have the chance to join LeagueSpot on their new journey to include traditional sports and activities on the same industry-leading platform. Byron and I, in part, will continue on the adventure alongside LeagueSpot as they welcome Mission Control onto their platform, expand further into the recreation industry that we found success in, and broaden their offerings into traditional sports. For anyone who is interested in learning more about LeagueSpot, stay tuned for future updates and feel free to reach out! In the meantime, Byron and I will each begin to chart the next adventures in our careers - and we’ll be sure to share more soon! S/O Arch Grants, Saint Louis University, Richard A. When we started this journey, we had a simple mission: create deeper connections between football players and their fans. What began as an idea has evolved into a thriving community of passionate football fans and creators. What I've learned so far: 1️⃣ Content is king, but community is the kingdom 2️⃣ Gen Z sports fans want authenticity over polish 3️⃣ The future of fan engagement is participatory, not passive 4️⃣ Building in public creates trust and genuine connections The most rewarding part? Seeing fans light up when they interact with their favorite players in ways they never could before. This is just the beginning. We're reimagining how the next generation of football fans will experience the beautiful game. #football #fanengagement #sportsbusiness #sportfans

Sports media is evolving, and gambling is at the center of it. Platforms like Action Network are turning fans into bettors, reshaping how we watch and engage with games. It’s no longer just about whether your team wins—it’s about how you can win. Is this the future of sports or are we losing something along the way? #SportsBetting #Gambling #SportsMedia Source: Did Sports Media Play Itself? By Tommy Craggs

It's the "business end" of the football season. A time when football fans who love the game, also hate the game. The nerves, the tension, the importance of winning 3 vital points that can make the difference between promotion, and play-offs, staying up, or relegation. Pure sporting drama. I've always been intrigued how betting companies and sportsbooks engage, entertain, inform, and retain their customers during this time of pure drama, when goal change games, change betting odds, and change peoples love of the game. And many don't. Which for me is a really big missed opportunity. A live-watchalong-betting-service does so much more than keep people informed of the next best bet, reacting in seconds to the action on the pitch, it taps into the passion and emotion of all football fans and keeps them engaged, informed, entertained, and most importantly, on the sportsbook during the most dynamic 90+ minutes of the week. Football is unpredictable and naturally engaging. A live-betting-watchalong-service is therefore also unpredictable and naturally engaging. Give people a reason to stay on your sportsbook, when sport is live, and they will stay. https://lnkd.in/eu4iQB6b #iGamingindustry #iGaming #iGamingnews #betting #engagement #entertainment #retention #sportsbetting

A report on one of the unintended consequences of the "surge" in legalized sportsbetting: more and more fans are taking out their emotions after losing bets by yelling at players and coaches during games. Stadiums and arenas are workplaces for players, coaches, and referees. Razzing them for their decisions and actions on fields and courts during games is part of sports; screaming at them over one's own gambling wagers is (mis)behavior that is beyond the bounds. #SportsInCities #FutureOfWork
