We are delighted to have participated in the Raoul Wallenberg Institute Online Seminar, where we had the opportunity to share valuable insights. Here are some key takeaways from Al Kags enlightening session: 1. For effective #CitizenParticipation, it is essential to establish mechanisms that identify citizens' needs and their collective potential. This lays the foundation for meaningful engagement. 2. Governments and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) should prioritize organizing forums that facilitate #CitizenEngagement, that are inclusive and accessible for all. 🤝 3. Lack of #OpenGovernance, #CitizenParticipation, and #Accountability at the grassroots level can shake the very foundation of our democracy.
