#DYK The 5 highest burden #NTDs in Africa can be prevented with Mass Drug Administrations (MDAs), yet millions still suffer. Low-cost, highly effective drugs are available, but funding is essential to ensure widespread access to those most in need. Success in NTD control and elimination not only lies with African countries but with all of us including global and industry leaders. Let us unite efforts and ensure adequate resources to eliminate #NTDs. #BeatNTDs #UniteActEliminate

I am currently in Malta, where I have the honor and privelege of attending and representing Medicines for Europe and Sandoz at the inaugural Evidence for Action (E4A) Dialogue on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). The objective of this meeting is to identify the most pressing questions from AMR leaders, experts and advocates. The focus will be on the most urgent questions that can help mobilize political action to address the pipeline and access crisis of antibacterial products. I firmly believe that strong and diverse collaborations across multiple sectors that develop better policies , partnerships , sustainable supply chains and incentives are keys to winning the fight against AMR, and look forward to the fruitful discussions ahead! https://lnkd.in/dgcMdaFH #antimicrobialresistance #humanhealth #collaboration
