It's now been a month since I left Kindred Group plc to co-found Letzz.io. During my 10 years at Kindred, I built and led a global team responsible for Customer Risk across 20 jurisdictions. We handled AML & RG Compliance and Operations, and owned/co-owned the registration, verification, and payment journeys and product for every customer — from first-time depositors to the high-value customers wagering thousands. Those of you who have been long enough in this industry know that meeting the constant (and often incredulous) changes in this area increasingly feels like a losing battle. My role was not just about managing customer risk in a compliant manner; it was also about ensuring that compliance had the least possible impact on revenue and profits — therefore ensuring market sustainability. With multiple regulators constantly changing how they view and address this area, this was extremely challenging to say the least. So what kept me at Kindred for so long? It’s down to a key philosophy that has underpinned their success. Kindred firmly believes in turning obstacles into opportunities, and in always finding a better way of doing things. During this turbulence, I learned that combining this philosophy with the right information, the right stakeholders, and the right technological resources means that operators can still innovate and gain an edge. 🚀 **Introducing Letzz** 🚀 This belief and mindset is what drove my co-founder Predrag Spasojevic and myself to launch Letzz. I got to meditate with one of my heroes recently Michael Singer built a multi-million dollar medical billing software company without trying His secret was in meditating and becoming present Basically, he anchored in a regular flow state He still put in long hours, led a team and made decisions Just without the worries or doubt of the thinking mind (That's how I define 'not trying') Now, his software company went on to IPO in 1997, was acquired by WebMD in an acquisition worth ~$5 billion in 2005... ...and also got him prosecuted for securities fraud in 2003 You might think this disqualifies him from hero status But not for me He tells the whole story in "The Surrender Experiment: My Journey into Life's Perfection" Perfection does not mean things always go well It's about embracing what is as perfect As he was about to launch the first version of his software, which he'd spent two years developing, someone asked him, "Is it any good?" Michael said, "I have no idea" (He hadn't sold anyone; the customers had pursued him) He wasn't attached to the outcome He thought it would be either garbage, or a million dollar product... and he was off by a number of zeroes It's this type of non-attachment that creates fulfillment Michael Singer is deeply joyful & I could feel it sitting next to him A surreal and affirming experience for me 🥹 #meditation #mindfulness #wellbeingatwork #mindsetcoach

Attached is a real demonstration of RCC-X's capabilities from a BigPanda Incident and a Change Management system "change record". Story Time!🌟   One morning, our team received a (rather annoyed) message from one of our testers, “Our cat was locked in all night, what happened?” 🐱❌   Puzzled and concerned, we looked at the situation. Our software wasn't supposed to lock the cat inside that night, and there was no manual lock mode activated on Flappie. After rigorous checks of our software code and algorithms, we found no anomalies; everything seemed normal, and there was no alert from our prey detection feature.   Frustration turned into curiosity as we manually sifted through the data and, voila, we uncovered the mysterious reason behind Brandy’s (the cat’s name) night-long exile...   A fox! 🦊   Yes, a fox had found Flappie intriguing! It explored, nibbled, and licked Flappie, unintentionally manually activating a lock mechanism which usually remains untriggered, trapping poor Brandy inside.   This bizarre encounter was a great reminder: no matter how careful the construction, there will always be unforeseen elements without thorough testing. There are thousands of aspects to consider, and sometimes, nature throws in a wild card!   Ironically, this incident might have saved Brandy from a dangerous encounter with Mr. Fox! 🙏   This incident also demonstrated Flappie's unique ability to provide our customers with completely new insights, shedding light on the unknown, unexpected interactions in the lives of our furry friends.   Have you experienced any unusual or unexpected incidents during product testing?
