So, I'm getting really into digital accessibility, and would love to become a subject matter expert in the topic 👨🏻💻 There is a whole universe of resources out there (online courses, articles, books), but I need a game plan to make sure my studying is focused, and my learnings concise and fast – I got two kids, which means I have barely any free time at all! 😅 To any A11Y professionals out there reading this: how was your journey from newbie to pro? What route, courses, books do you recommend as mandatory? Please let me know in a comment or DM, and if you're free for a virtual coffee I'd love to meet you ☕️ Please share! Thanks 🙌🏻 #A11y #Accessibility #UX #UXdesign

I totally understand the struggle of finding time to study! Here are some resources that might help: "Inclusive Design for the Whole Web" by Heydon Pickering, "Designing for the Digital Age: How to Create Human-Centered Products and Services" by Kim Goodwin, and the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) website offers great learning materials too. Good luck! 👍 #A11y #Accessibility

I think this was a talk I attended on the topic - which was incredibly useful way of how to bake into the project and build in general https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=A5XzoDT37iM

This is an area of expertise and passion for Phil Strain - he'd be worth having a coffee with!
