We are delighted today to announce the signing of a supply agreement with Yara International - a world leader in fertiliser production and distribution 🌱 ⏳ Long-term supply of ATOME’s green Calcium Ammoniun Nitrate (CAN) fertiliser 🟢 Covers 100% of planned production from our 145MW Villeta Project in Paraguay 🔑 Secures key gating item on the road to Final Investment Decision later this year ✅ Validates commercial proposition at Villeta and existing pipeline This is a significant milestone in our journey to delivering the world’s largest dedicated green fertiliser facility from start of production in 2027. With global demand for food growing with the population, the need for higher crop yields and more efficient fertiliser is increasing and we are well positioned to lead the acceleration of this process. In fact, the estimated annual production at Villeta (approx. 264,000 tonnes) would be enough to cover 440,000 hectares of wheat crop. That is enough to produce over 5 billion loaves of bread - sustainably! 🌍 We look forward developing this relationship with Yara and making a meaningful impact on the food industry. This is wonderful news from ATOME & Yara International! As is the case with renewable power, ATOME has demonstrated that the green revolution can disrupt the old fertilizer market featuring big facilities close to hydrocarbon sources, succeeding with a decentralized model where clean production is close to demand centers and can displace imports. For more highly priced items, centralizing production around excellent green resources also works well, especially if you are able to tap vast coastal deserts or if you are producing a fuel for transportation which must be available everywhere at the lowest decile price, but smaller quantities produced and used locally can also make a huge impact. What is really commendable about ATOME implementing this strategy is that they were the first to see that opportunity and put their own skin in the game instead of relying on subsidies like most major companies. It took guts and now it’s paying off with the replacement of the dirtiest fertilizer imports (in terms of emissions) with locally produced green ammonia #fertilizer in #Paraguay! #greenhydrogen #greenammonia #LatAm #GSD

Scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2024, our new integrated mine and fertilizer production facility Serra do Salitre has already been a strong driver of local income, and will be generating three thousand jobs. Gustavo Horbach, our Executive Chairman of EuroChem South America commented on Brazil's plans to increase fertilizer production, ''This is a fundamental plan, especially for the continued growth of Brazilian agribusiness, which is highly dependent on imports for fertilizer consumption. Brazil – Sorghum grain: It is becoming relevant as an alternative to corn as clean energy companies invest in new ethanol units. Cost to produce it is about 50% of corn & price can reach 85%. It is more tolerant to dry conditions vs. corn. Acc to IBGE statistics bureau, area meant to sorghum raised 22% in ‘23 to 1.26 million ha + production was 3,81 MMT in ‘23. Inpasa announced they would start buying it in 2nd half of ‘24 in their MS units. They are one of the largest producers of clean renewable energy in Latin America. It is also being considered by Pindorama Coop, in AL. Embrapa, agri research service, considers sorghum as viable alternative to corn, especially over semi-arid areas of northeast. In June 2014, Patria Investments invested in Frooty, a Brazil-based açaí sorbet manufacturing company. The company’s business model employs local workers in the states of Amazonas and Pará for the sustainable harvesting and processing of superfruits in the Amazon rainforest.  With Patria's support, Frooty has become the leading açaí sorbet manufacturing company in Brazil, with a production capacity that exceeds 120 tons a day of açaí sorbets and 45% of the retail market share in the country. Frooty established environmental programs to protect approximately 40,000 hectares of the Amazon rainforest since the production of açaí is highly dependent on the health of the ecosystem. The company’s commitment to sustainability extends to its circular economy practices, where waste from pulp production is utilized as fuel for steam generation.
