🌞 A beautiful day for a project tour of Berry Ranch Apartments in Southeast Portland’s Lents neighborhood where 50 homes are coming to life! 🏡 This incredible 50,045 SF, three-story affordable family housing project, created for ROSE Community Development Corporation in partnership with Housing Development Center and designed by BDA Architecture and Planning, P.C., stands as a shining example of intentional design and the power of community collaboration. A big thank-you to our Walsh team — Craig Leonnig, Nolan Knox, Johnny Moses, and Caitlin Kelley — for their expertise in managing this challenging site along a busy thoroughfare. Their coordination of just-in-time deliveries and outreach to neighboring properties is helping to minimize disruptions and keep the project on track. And a huge shout out to our partners at RDF BUILDERS CO for their dedication to quality and craftsmanship. 💙 In partnership with Community Vision, 14 of these units will support individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities, fostering opportunities for independent living in spaces designed with care. 🌳 The central courtyard, complete with a children’s play area, is all about connection and community, while sustainable features like a solar array and battery backup system ensure resilience and environmental responsibility. Supported by Portland General Electric and Mercy Housing, Berry Ranch Apartments highlights the importance of affordable, inclusive, and sustainable housing solutions. It will be a cornerstone for families and individuals seeking stability and a brighter future and we are thrilled to be a part of this effort.
