Van Halteren Technologies engineered a large piston type wave generator system for FZK / Coastal Research Centre in Hannover. The old hydraulic driven wave generator system has been replaced by a new one, powered entirely by electric technology. Our electrical expertise in drive and control technology ensures an advanced system that has a higher dynamic performance, easier to maintain, and is energy-efficient. This new setup not only improves the quality of waves and tidal simulations but also ensures the facility's operational efficiency for the next decades. This new system brings benefits.
