April 22nd is Earth Day. XINGI TECH is willing to share many ideas about UHMWPE FIBER recycling. As a global leader in the UHMWPE FIBER industry, XINGI TECH is a supplier that provides comprehensive UHMWPE FIBER solutions, with a capacity of 20,000MTS of UHMWPE FIBER and 7,000MTS of ballistic fabrics. We are committed to making our contribution to the Earth's environment. Recommended Solution 1: Cutting into Short Fibers UHMWPE fiber waste is cut into small pieces and can be further processed into different lengths for various purposes, such as reinforcing cement, blending materials, manufacturing felt fabrics, and producing water treatment filter cores. Recommended Solution 2: Thermal Compression UHMWPE fiber waste is compressed into blocks, which can be used to manufacture furniture, construction materials, boards, pipes, and more. Other Reuse Options: For customers using deep-sea fishing nets, the used nets can be repurposed as low-intensity nets for bird protection, soccer nets, sunshades, and other applications. For customers using cables, the used cables can be transformed into low-strength tying ropes, or even made into dog toys as gifts for customers. #environment #uhmwpe #ropes #slings #cables #recycle #Earth

Did you know that Europe is the world's top producer of scutched flax fiber? Over 75% of global production takes place in Belgium, northern France, and the Netherlands. Impressive for a region with limited natural resources! Not a single part of the flax plant goes to waste. The long fibers are typically used in the textile industry, where they’re known as linen. You likely have a linen shirt in your closet or a decorative item made from this fiber. BIOFIBIX uses the short fiber fraction to produce composite reinforcements for the transportation, leisure, and construction industry. Don’t be misled; both long and short fibers have the same excellent mechanical properties! Yet, long fibers are more suitable to produce fine yarn for textiles and short fibers lend themselves better to the non-woven production process. Additionally, the wooden particles, or shives, from the flax plant are used in construction materials or as animal bedding, with Jopack as Belgium’s leading producer. Feel free to reach out to BIOFIBIX's team if you’d like to learn more about flax fiber as a sustainable and lightweight material! #flax #europe #worldleader #zerowaste #sustainability #composites #materials

We can talk all day about the dangers of silicosis on the lungs of workers. We can generate horrific images showing you the ravages of strip-mining. At Grenite® Recycled Surfaces, we prefer to discuss solutions. Like how going prefab with Grenite keeps countertop installations easy and free of toxic dust and waste material, enhancing workplace safety while we save you a ton of money on specialized labor. Or how our use of up to 80% recycled content means less material strip-mined from the planet and a lower carbon footprint than traditional engineered stone. And that our countertops already contain lower than average amounts of harmful crystalline silica, and soon we’ll be offering options with even lower content, including choices that contain 0%. We’ve saved our clients millions of dollars on their countertop installations with our pre-fab approach, while we continue to refine our manufacturing process and become 100% sustainable. Remember when someone told you to “think different?” At Grenite, we did. Learn more at www.grenite.com

In the production of laminate, waste is mainly generated during the cutting of wood boards into planks, which results in unsaleable waste and sawdust. To solve this problem, a leading manufacturer contacted #RHEWUM to screen and recycle the waste in order to increase the overall efficiency. In particular, the separation of fine sawdust from a mill was a challenge, as wood tends to clog the screens and affect performance. The customer's particle size ranged from large chips (>10.0mm) requiring resizing, to screening fine dust (<400 microns), a third of the input. Visible chips were resized (0.4 - 10.0 mm), while <0.4 mm dust was reused for heating, eliminating waste disposal. RHEWUM's #RHEsono and #RHEmoto machines with high frequency movements successfully remove particles from the fabric. RHEWUM's programmable brush cleaning system moves and rotates along the screen to increase efficiency and reduce cleaning time. Efficient screening is crucial in bulk processing and together with the customer we have found an environmentally friendly solution for wood waste. To delve deeper into the story and learn more about how RHEWUM's screening machine revolutionizes wood recycling, click on this link: https://lnkd.in/eTyuQFYx #WasteToWealth #EfficientScreening #SustainableSolutions #WoodWasteManagement #ResourceRecovery #GreenProduction #ZeroWasteTechnology #InnovativeRecycling #EnvironmentalEfficiency #CircularEconomy #WoodworkingSustainability #EcoFriendlyScreening #CuttingEdgeTechnology #WasteReduction #RenewableEnergySources

Did you know that asphalt is one of the most recycled materials in the world? Old asphalt from torn-up roads and runways can be collected and reused to make new roads, drastically reducing waste and the need for new raw materials. Of course, if you’re not cutting a large area, the Diatech AVR20 is an economical option for those smaller tar patching jobs. The narrow gullets on 22-segment AVR20 asphalt blade give it the edge on its rivals, at a very reasonable price. If you haven’t read our latest blog on asphalt yet, you’ll find it here: https://bit.ly/3ygPIVV

Siniat’s metal framing products are a good example of “#circular products” and the closed loop usage model. End-of-life refers to the end of a product’s life cycle. In the case of building products, this stage is often the #deconstruction of the building it was installed in. According to the 2018 National Waste Report, we know that an average of 90% of the metal products produced in Australia are recycled at end-of-life by factories that produce new steel that then goes back into the loop. Siniat uses BlueScope steel with 25% #recycled content to make our products. We have also made significant progress in the reduction of the scrap we generate on site, with 50% less waste compared to 2016. All on-site waste we generate in the manufacture of our metal products is recycled. #Circularity is one of the pillars of the Etex Road to Sustainability 2030, and an important part of our sustainability strategy. To find out more the life cycle of Sinat products and their environmental impact, download our Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for plasterboard and metal framing from our website https://lnkd.in/gTFZYcb9.
