Did you know that asphalt is one of the most recycled materials in the world? Old asphalt from torn-up roads and runways can be collected and reused to make new roads, drastically reducing waste and the need for new raw materials. Of course, if you’re not cutting a large area, the Diatech AVR20 is an economical option for those smaller tar patching jobs. The narrow gullets on 22-segment AVR20 asphalt blade give it the edge on its rivals, at a very reasonable price. If you haven’t read our latest blog on asphalt yet, you’ll find it here: https://bit.ly/3ygPIVV

April 22nd is Earth Day. XINGI TECH is willing to share many ideas about UHMWPE FIBER recycling. As a global leader in the UHMWPE FIBER industry, XINGI TECH is a supplier that provides comprehensive UHMWPE FIBER solutions, with a capacity of 20,000MTS of UHMWPE FIBER and 7,000MTS of ballistic fabrics. We are committed to making our contribution to the Earth's environment. Recommended Solution 1: Cutting into Short Fibers UHMWPE fiber waste is cut into small pieces and can be further processed into different lengths for various purposes, such as reinforcing cement, blending materials, manufacturing felt fabrics, and producing water treatment filter cores. Recommended Solution 2: Thermal Compression UHMWPE fiber waste is compressed into blocks, which can be used to manufacture furniture, construction materials, boards, pipes, and more. Other Reuse Options: For customers using deep-sea fishing nets, the used nets can be repurposed as low-intensity nets for bird protection, soccer nets, sunshades, and other applications. For customers using cables, the used cables can be transformed into low-strength tying ropes, or even made into dog toys as gifts for customers. #environment #uhmwpe #ropes #slings #cables #recycle #Earth

Siniat’s metal framing products are a good example of “#circular products” and the closed loop usage model. End-of-life refers to the end of a product’s life cycle. In the case of building products, this stage is often the #deconstruction of the building it was installed in. According to the 2018 National Waste Report, we know that an average of 90% of the metal products produced in Australia are recycled at end-of-life by factories that produce new steel that then goes back into the loop. Siniat uses BlueScope steel with 25% #recycled content to make our products. We have also made significant progress in the reduction of the scrap we generate on site, with 50% less waste compared to 2016. All on-site waste we generate in the manufacture of our metal products is recycled. #Circularity is one of the pillars of the Etex Road to Sustainability 2030, and an important part of our sustainability strategy. To find out more the life cycle of Sinat products and their environmental impact, download our Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for plasterboard and metal framing from our website https://lnkd.in/gTFZYcb9.

Industrial slab – Synthetic fibre reinforced concrete solution – Fibrofor High Grade. 9-year anniversary, Zirec Recycling In the heart of the 9-year-old Zirec recycling hall, durability isn't just a requirement—it's a necessity. The floor faces a dual challenge: it must resist oil, grease, and alkali while enduring abrasion from excavators with shovels. Moreover, it withstands extreme point loads caused by heavy lifting equipment. The industrial floor was created in 2015 and the pictures show that the floor is still in perfect condition today. Benefits: o Less steel - cost reduction (material and labour) o No corrosion - longer service life o Less CO2 - environmentally friendlier (EPD certified) o No visible fibres on the surface o Massive reduction of early shrinkage cracks Further information about Fibrofor High Grade: https://bit.ly/3UWzYzZ

Vulcanization 101 ⚛️ Vulcanization is a transformative manufacturing process that involves exposing recycled crumb rubber and curing agents to high heat and pressure. Conducted in a carefully controlled environment, vulcanization activates and cross links the natural elastomers found within rubber, fusing them together in a way that enhances the physical properties and performance of our rubber products. The outcome? A dense, almost indestructible and impenetrable rubber flooring product. From recreational and residential products to agriculture and commercial applications, NWR's vulcanization process elevates our rubber performance to extraordinary levels. 🚧 Revamp with Recycled Asphalt (RAP)! 🚧 Transform your paving projects with Recycled Asphalt (RAP), an eco-friendly and cost-effective choice. When asphalt is recycled, it’s ground into gravel through a process called asphalt milling. This material is then brought to an asphalt plant where it’s screened and resized, often resulting in a product even stronger than new asphalt. One of RAP’s greatest advantages is its durability. The asphalt binder can shift between liquid and solid forms without any chemical changes, ensuring that its strength remains intact. Additionally, asphalt can be recycled multiple times, extending its lifespan and reducing the need for new materials. By choosing RAP, you’re not only saving money but also supporting a more sustainable approach to paving that minimizes the environmental impact of quarrying and mining. Upgrade to RAP and experience the perfect blend of durability, cost savings, and environmental responsibility.
